The other 23 does the classic bIg O thing- sacrifices himself by moving all in river (his reasoning was that he was trying to get me to fold 23, which sadly makes no mathematical sense, I have to call even if I know I'm getting quartered). And in sacrificing himself, he "takes me down" with him. Bizarre feature of the split pot games where a mistake will affect the player himself, but then, positively or negatively, the other 2 players.

Have AK632 nut spades and 18k. Makes sense to "slow play" , not in the slow play sense, but because our hand is well defined by flop in position. Big blind has 9k is all in. UTG repots and gets uTG1 out.

Nice spot, although equities obviously will run close
