Bit better today, played ok in another howling gale. Got a bit lucky at five, par 5 into the teeth of it ended up inches form OB happy with a bogey left the tee thinking that hole has done me again.
Was was one over on the tee on the 5fth helped by a fortuitous chip in at the 3rd. don't think this flyover

The sensible thing is to leave yourself a decent club in and just throw it all all the way it'll stop your about 20 yards above the green. Me i blew a driver cause course management is a laugh and once every year I'll hit a beauty and it will make the green, The rest of the time I'll be left with something impossible like today but the chip was good.
Played ok but shit the bed with on the 15th with terrible triple on a tricky par 3 ended up with 83 net 69 and lost by a stroke to a mate that was our early but thankfully a decent score for my handicap as every time i have a card in my hand this year its been 90+ If I play a bounce round its 10 shots lower, yeah bottle merchant i know,
