I wouldn't count RED out quite yet - with 9,000 that's just a double up away from 18,000.  Which is a double up away from 36,000 which is MORE than average.  I hope that is comforting...

All right, back on the floor.  I attach a photo of Julian, who has quietly built up a nice stack.  JP should learn from this man how to take photography in a gracious manner Wink

thanks for the update on willie jen, ive known this man for over 25 years now and even though i live on the other side of the atlantic now we still talk every day, his resilience and stamina for the game leave guys 40 years his juniour in his wake. I spoke to him 5 mins b4 the start of this tourney and and to say he was up for it was an understatement.Sorry for all the rest of u guys but all the arms in iraq wont get those chips back from willie now.

ps. please steer him away from the dice table at the end of the night

They aren't playing down to a specific number, just until close - 0330 hours is our best guess.

Martin Cavanagh is OUT after two reasonably bad beats in a row...

Firstly a rather unexpected call of his re-raise (holding ) from John Shipley (or "Shipley, who's a fish.  And you can put that online") with .  A Jack emerged to get him nearly down to the felt, and then it was his second KQ which fell to Q 10 (and a folder had shown one of the precious Tens).  He doesn't look delighted...

Cheers Barry. I was going to go. BUt it was so bloody cold and I thought we would get hammered. Oh well, becoming an armchair supporter in my old age.

Jake has learned how to go allin and how to borrow money. What other skills does he need?

Ralph 'Karabiner' goes to preflop war with James Atkin, and wins the skirmish without seeing any board cards.  But we did see James'  which he passed.
