I just asked Don if he need an escort to his car, a bit of muscle perhaps incase things got nasty.

He laughed in my face.

How about this for a team interview?

Don, Maurice, Mad Turk, and Bling Bling all in one go.

Before I forget, many thanks to Zak, Dani, Carolyn, Wayne, and Tom who did a sterling job this week.

The Walsall clan always makes us welcome and their hospitality is most welcome.

I am going to attempt to get back to London now, nice and slowly with a deflating tyre which Tim Flanders might have an electric pump for!  Very kind.  Oh, and here he is - he's given me an Air Compressor With Flashing Safety Light!  Wow.  Now I just need to get At-It to show me how to use it in the carpark...

Thanks Tim, if you read this!  And I'll give it back at the next comp...

Does anyone think its a little sad that an exciting poker tournament finishes this way, in a deal?  I don't at all begrudge deal makers, but there is a problem.  All of this great coverage for not since they made a deal.  Who won?  We will never know.

I watched the golf match play final today (including 3rd place match) at the casino.  Even the guys not caring battling it out for the 3rd place difference 600k for 3rd and 500k for 4th wouldnt make a deal.  In fact if there were even a hint of deal making both players would be suspended, and barred for life if they actually did.

On a side note, Ed Giddons is chip leader in the £100 rebuy with just 7 left.

A tasty 7k 1st prize awaits him.

Goooo Ed

Big up for the team... excellent coverage..pity that I just got in after my 3.5 hour drive home to read it instead of still being part of it

Well it's goodnight then - don't think we'll be able to conclude the debate on Deal or No Deal but it's always interesting to discuss these things...

Just remains to say thanks to Snoopy who clearly doesn't need an update partner but puts up with me pretending to boss him about admirably.  It's been a pleasure, as always.  See you in Vienna!
