The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Dave the story I heard was that Arthur Guinness was on his way from London to Ireland and on his way through Anglesea stopped for a beverage in a local public house, this is where he tasted the stout first, he asked for the recipie and took it back to Ireland.
arthur guiness was a brewer working in london
he burnt the hops of one brew and in trying to salvage the batch created stout
he had trouble selling his new product so he sold it to the poor irish workers in london
the irish took it to heart and it became there drink
a drink for the irish created in london by a welshman
sorry guys but both these stories are nonsense guinness was created by god on the fourth day

Its a good pint Tank. My Granda swears by it! He is in there evry Sudnay straight after Mass at noon. He has been drinking the Black Stuff from the beggning of time and he should know a good pint. O'Briens ain't the most fashionable pub in the world and in truth its an old mans pub and you get a few tramps in but its a pub that does cheap booze and the vast majority of the punters are good craic. In truth most pubs in the Gallowgate are. But are tagged unfortunately. On St Pats day the majority of the Boozers will be doing promos on the Guinness normally a £1 a pint. For all year cheapness though O'Briens, Toalbooth and The Spirit all within 100 yards of each other is great muchness cheapness as a lucky lucky man once told me in Spain.
