Sheriff Fatman - would be glad to keep an eye out for Shauna Madrigal, but I don't know her/him - can you give me any clues??!! Table no? Can she/he make themselves known to me? SO many folks here, it would help.

Diamond - I am sorry to say John Grice busted out yesterday, but he did you proud, & went down all guns blazing. Be proud of him.

Before I open the Day Two Day One Thread. (eh?) a word about Jen.

She "clocked on" at 10.00am yesterday, & I took her back to The Orleans in a taxi at 0415, thats a LONG day. I kept telling her to give best, but she's tough and plucky.

Until tomorrow, we cant get her a Press Pass, so she has no access to the Press Room, or "inside the ropes" yet.

So she set up a little "office" in the Convention Way "corridor", a bench seat for her laptop & her, a wall socket, job done. And it became a sort of Brit's Corner, with the Brits congreating there during breaks, & a constant stream of folks giving her updates and stuff. It was well cosy.

Look, we DO appreciate it, honestly, but it's not really the right thing to do. Do as thy will be done, & all that.

I believe we, or you guys, CAN put a "link" to another site if deemed appropriate. But not wholesale cut and paste. Please don't take offence, but quite apart from the morality & ethical issue, there is the legal side to consider. One well-known website faces huge claims for data copying, & my pension won't run to that.

On a TOTALLY unrelated matter, Joe Beevers & myself spent a lot of time together yesterday, and we have a great "understanding" of how best to work together. He "borrowed" some of our stuff, posted it on HMF, & gave acknowledgement & thanks to blonde. We did the same.

on a more serious note i will be doing live updates this weekend from the sunny resort of brighton (if things all goto plan)
