No offence to those who have backed Clan Royal / Hedgehunter, but to back any horse in the grand national at odds around the 6.0 or 7.0 is madness.

Cornish Rebel for me - 2nd in the Scottish National.  Slightly tempermental.  It is Nicholls' pick of his stable tho.

Joe's Edge e/w for me, he had some good form last season, including winning the Scottish National (admittedly carrying a lot less weight), but he is still only carrying 10-10 and I have a feeling he has been laid out for this race. Obviously the two market leaders are going to take all the beating, but there is no value to be had backing horses at those prices in the National.
So, in short, don't back Joe's Edge I have tipped it so it is bound to be the first faller in the race!

Its Garvivonion for me. Its done it over the National fences, only fallen once in 86 races & is getting 18 pounds from Hedgehunter.

Hedgehunter is the class horse but don't fancy it carrying such weight with the softening ground.
Clan Royal is to headstrong & is more likely to place than win but can't have it so short priced.

I've gone with Ebony Light, Garvivonnian and Numbersixvalver all E/W . Would have gone with Clan Royal if it had a better price
