Outstanding film.
I hope they don't cut it. Last time it was on TV half the film was missing.
Also watched it when I was about 8 years old and didn't sleep for a week.

A classic tell you what though, I'm nearly 40 and had to walk out of the cinema half way through Tarantino's Hostel recently. Completely scared me to bits Went back to watch it two nights later..... Surely you mean Eli Roth's Hostel? American werewolf in London is ace, also on tonight was The Shootest (John Wayne's final film), American Beauty (love the humour) and This is Spinal Tap (so funny on so many levels).

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

Yep, saw this was on last night. I've got the DVD already, but this film is a classic. Great effects for its time, and intentionally hilarious at times also. Great stuff.

I think you have hit the nail on the head, this is a great horror film, that is very funny at times and is also a great love story and Jenny Aguter(sp).........wow. The first woman I ever fancied was Julie Andrews running down a hill in a habit in the Sound of music when I was about 10, I then saw this aged 12 and got a whole new interest in women.

only one film made me want to switch off
WOLF CREEK........ just so nasty, but utterly plausable. It could and to be honest is happening right now.
And its the bits you don't see, like what happens to them after the film has ended.

I was only a young lad when i first saw this film. I can honestly say that Jenny Aguter made an impression that lasted. This was of course aided by her appearance in Logans Run'
