6303  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: check in the dark on: March 14, 2009, 10:01:00 AM
DTD 300 at the weekend. Still at our starting table, we have a veritable plethora of different styles, Barry Neville , George Geary, Roberto Romanello, James Browning.

In seat one is a young guy who I didnt know of. he was certainly not short of attitude, having already called the clock on George Geary, and I was getting the impression that he thought he was better than he was. anyway, the blinds are 100/200, I have about 14K, young guy has about 10K in the small blind. I am UTG and get dealt  . To mix it up a bit I raise to i think 650, and it is folded round to the SB who calls. GG folds the big blind.

Before the flop comes down young guy extravagantly bangs the table and annouces "check in the dark".

Flop comes  .

your move ?

lead 40% of pot then call his reraise if reraised
on turn if he leads i would reraise him small
or lead if he checks in the dark again
i would also not be folding

6305  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: Is this Justice? on: March 13, 2009, 11:27:21 PM
I am about as far away as a person could be from a Daily Mail reading, "lock 'em up and throw away the key" right wing zealot.

But, is this the most lenient sentence in the history of the British Justice system:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7927267.stm

If I had just read the story and they had left out the details of the sentence I would have expected her to get about 15 years.

Thoughts anyone?

hmmmmm seems pretty good deal for her

sell boats buy 142 properties have 1.2 mill cash and deny that you knew u was selling to drug dealers
and i am not good at accounting is pretty funny.

believe it or not i was quite relieved that i only got a 6 month ban

the police said i was traveling very fast with speeds up to 110-130mph

thats in a 1.6 for focus lx
very dificult
6307  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: driving question on: March 13, 2009, 10:19:06 PM
in answer to op, if i were ur brother id offer to pay the fine (not the speeding one though). it ultimately comes down to you though. sorry

i know it does come down to me but. could he not just spend 5 mins of his life to read a document instead of playing WOW 24/7

i would of never drove. makes no sense to travel all the way to lincoln just to read a document

my mistake is trusting my retarded brother
6308  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: driving question on: March 13, 2009, 10:13:38 PM
So the car is in Leeds with you (family car) and the family isn't in Leeds? So who normally uses the car in Leeds? If it's you at Uni then you have been using it illegally for longer than you thought.

nooooooooooooo

the car is in lincoln
i dont have a car at that time.

sorry if my english is bad or badly layed out but i thought it was easily understandable
6309  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: driving question on: March 13, 2009, 02:33:18 PM
I'm confused about why you had the car in the first place

it wasnt my car it was my familys car
6310  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: driving question on: March 13, 2009, 02:26:20 PM

Try not to be too hard on your brother either. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose. It's not worth falling out about.

[/quote]

but if he took time out to read the documents then i wouldnt be in this mess
but i do think it was partly my fault for trusting my retarded brother.
6311  Community Forums / The Lounge / Re: driving question on: March 13, 2009, 01:33:46 PM
no one drove to leeds

i lived in leeds whilst at uni

no one else could of drove and my mum didnt want to waste 170 quid to pick my grandma up when u can drive there for 60.
6312  Community Forums / The Lounge / driving question on: March 13, 2009, 01:28:59 PM
I just wanted someones opinion on what happened. please dont be gay and leave a retarded comment

My mum asked me if i could pick my grandma up from the airport. I asked if i had insurance. ( i couldnt check coz i was in leeds and my family lives in lincoln)

my mum said my bro looked at it and he said yes. ( mum is chinese and cant read english)

so i went to pick my grandma up.

2 am on the m5 no cars 4 lanes, and i was speeding
the police stoped me and said i was speeding and that i could show my documents( insurance mot) to the police station the following day because i didnt have the documents on me.

the following day i realised that i didnt have insurance. and i got banned for 6months and my insurance is sky high.

So

1. should i blame my brother for not looking at the documents properly. If i knew i didnt have insurance i wouldnt of drove
2. I know i shouldnt of been speeding but if i had insurance i wouldnt of got banned or get sky high insurance.
3. is it my fault for not looking at the documents myself this would involve me training it back home to lincoln just to look at a document.

My View
I wouldnt of drove if i knew i didnt had insurance.
I wouldnt of got banned if i had insurance

my bros view (who is older than me but he couldnt drive at the time)

you shouldnt of broken the law.

thats his only arguement

or was it my fault coz i trusted my brother

6314  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: Flop nuts deep. He donks! on: February 10, 2009, 04:26:48 PM
Lol @ his turn bet

It looks like he's folding but I think you must raise here. I'd say to about $70-80...

Errr looks like he is inducing to me.

He has housed up surely?

i think he has a strong hand but not great and he is just trying to get to showdown with a strange line.
6315  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: Final table of Blackpool deepstack on: February 02, 2009, 09:31:40 AM
i think i would jst ship it if u have a tight image and it doesnt look too drawy.

but i wouldnt know if i would just push or just raise.
