I assume for the online event we'll have to be on US soil?

Sure you'd have to be somewhere more exact than the US to play that online event.  It will be limited to where wsop.com operates.

I was just thinking how dreadful that 50% cash event could be.  You could probably join at the last minute then just stall for a couple of hours, wait for aces and just min cash.  Get all the upside, with barely any downside.

Has the ante-only comp gone?  Now that was a blast.  People are weird.

Dont think you can - late reg for that one is only the first 2 levels according to the structure sheet...it would be a long stall lol!

Guess they thought it through then.

Still think the bubble is going to be massively painful in that comp.

Given some of the things I have seem online, I wouldn't be surprised if people go for it from hand 1.  Definitely one to take a book to.

Really looking forward to this.

Some fun events in there and think that the structure changes are really positive too.

Even tho I can see that the 50/50 event could be annoying, its always nice to try something new and I'll more than likely play it.

Only 3 months 3 weeks until I'm on the plane to Vegas!

What a Tourney!

Will you play the 6-Max PLO?

Might just be the best game in the world.

Media Members,

We have seen overwhelming interest in the newest event to the 2015 WSOP calendar, Event #5, the $565 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Colossus tournament.  We are seeing record pre-registration for this event.

With so much interest and so many first-time WSOP participants expected, we have put together the below (and attached) document to detail how this event will work.

We would appreciate your help using your outlets to shed some light on the details for the public so they can best position themselves if they choose to play in this event.

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you,

 Seth

I suspect the changes to the main event payout structure will result in a decent increase in entries. Therefore the examples given based on 2014 numbers will be improved upon.

I am definitely more likely to play it if all goes well while I'm over there.
