The best burger I've eaten came from here:

I prefer BK's and thier XL Bacon Cheese really is the business.  I'm not really a fan of McD's.  Obviously I will eat there, but if I had a choice I'd rather pop to the King.

Worked for Mcdonalds for 4 years, Aberdeen, Peterhead, Stoke-On-Trent, Uttoxeter and Alton Towers

Number of people I've seen pee in the hand washing sink in a Mcdonalds kitchen =  0

Worked for Burger King for 1 year, Aberdeen, Falkirk, Stirling and Edinburgh

Number of people I've seen pee in the hand washing sink in a Buirger King kitchen = 1

If given the choice between the two, after running the above data through a not too complicated formula, I elect to eat at Mcdonalds.

Thought you might know the story from Mcdonalds Ex-Glenrothes franchise !!

Girl goes to Doc unwell. After tests "have you given oral sex recently ?" She said no.

Turns out her chicken mayo thing had 5 different samples in it.

Obviously that franchise  no longer exists although there is one in the town.

Many years ago btw.

I was shocked at the selection of burgers given the thread title.

This also reminds me of a true story of McD's in Northfield B'ham where a disgruntled employee made his own version of a coke float.

Again... many years ago but I think there's a bit of a theme growing.

You'd struggle to beat the Bison burger I had in Chiquito's a few months back, top draw, DTD burger a close 2nd...

Actually thinking about it, the best burger I ever had was probably from this place at the Mirage in Vegas, The American Kobe Burger $17 but well worth it

http://www.mirage.com/restaurants/blt-burger.aspx

$17 for 7oz of Kobe beef is a bargain!!

But its American Kobe not Japanese (ie not imported) so I guess that makes a difference, it was bloody lovely though.

I've had Kobe beef in Kobe.  Thankfully, I wasn't paying..

There's horror stories connected to pretty much every fast food chain.

I just trust what I've witnessed with my own eyes with regard to general standards of hygiene in these places. Turns me off BK more than it does McDonalds.

A "Fatburger" is the nicest burger I've ever had!

It's a fairly small chain in America, there's one opposite the Monte Carlo in Vegas, and there's one inside the Borgata in Atlantic City

Highly recommended if anyone spots them on their travels!

There used to be a 'burger restaurant down the King's Road called "The Great American Disaster".

Proper char-grilled 100% beef with a slice of raw onion and a slice of one of those big tomatoes on top.

They were the best that I've ever had, mind you that was in the 1970's  Roll Eyes
