There was a local takeaway in my home town, think it may still be there actually, that used to do the ultimate in burgers for going home drunk. Two half pound steak burgers with a slice of cheese between them, and below, topped off with a generous pile of donner meat and the sauce of your choice. This heart attack in a bun was known as the sky tower burger. It may not sound too appetising now but after 10 or more pints it was the absolute business.

As for the vote, BK XL double bacon FTW.

if we can include US burger chains, then I would consider wendys to be the best of the best. especially their homestyle chicken burger.

for a proper hamburger, then i think steak n shake would be hard to beat.

If America is included then it's In and Out burger for the win. I'm happy with XL Bacon Double Cheese in terms of easy to get burgers.

ffs, what a mental picture, I didn't need that.

yeah the last thing you need is a semi-on just as you're about to go to sleep eh?

Thank you for that lovely mental image, did you have to tell us what was on your mind at that very time? Wink

(where's a vomit emoticon when you need it?)
