Ok It has started
Dave Cain World Record Attempt To play continuous Poker ( Or to stay awake for 100 hours )
"It is something I have intended to do since a friend of mine James ‘Royal Flush’ Dempsey tried to do it several years ago."
The record attempt will be held at the Library Bar on the university campus in Lincoln and will commence at 8pm on Sunday 14th September.
I am aiming to do over 100 hours which will hopefully take me to midnight on the Thursday.
Dave is playing Heads up with 5000chips and 15 minute blinds
First up was SimonTrumper who played Dave for over an hour.

Ok, Dave needs help
SCHEDULE
I need your help! I need players, dealers, stewards, witnesses, medical & IT support.
Players can reserve 1 hour slots. Some of these slots will be auctioned to the highest bidder. If you want to play one of these hours then add your bid in the Comments box.

I really hope Dave does this! I tried to do as much staying awake as I could this weekend to see what it feels like. I managed 60 hours and was going out my mind. Dave I've never met you, but you have complete respect from me, because this is not something you would do to yourself in normal circumstances. The important thing is being safe! Dont be so stubborn that you risk your health please. Good luck once again  |

Thanks for all your support guys n gals. Dave doing ok, Although its very early days yet, he is in high spirits. The Library bar is a 24 hour bar so it's busy and there is plenty of banter to keep him entertained. Keep the post coming we are reading them all out to him.
