Pokerstars monkey arrived today, 5yo is made up.

My first ever cash at DTD, 5th for £200.

Main highlight was hitting a full house Aces and Queens early on against a non believer holding Kings and called every bet on the flop, turn and all in on river.
Low light was six handed and table folded round to the young internet pretender to the throne who shoved all in with 17k in chips. I had J-K off suit and had him covered by 2200 chips. I knew he was shoving with bugger all and after thinking it through decided I was ahead and called. He showed J-5 OS making me 75% favourite to win.
I wasn't exactly overjoyed to see the five of spades on the flop.
 

Still enjoyed the evening and came away £100 up on the night.

Getting a short story published

The book is out now. My story is printed pretty much at the front of the book which I reckon is pretty cool (or so I'm telling myself.)

We did a print run of a few hundred of them and have been selling them at the Aberdeen Word Festival this weekend where we did a live reading thing.

We've a few dozen copies left we're trying to pawn off to friends n shit, as you do.
If anyone fancies a copy shoot us a pm and I'll sort you out by posting you one in exchange for a Stars/Tilt transfer of the cover price (four quid).
