Shove turn hand 1, fold river hand 2. You are far more likely to have a flush draw in hand 2 in a single raised pot than in hand 1 in a 3bet pot where people play draws more aggressively due to lower spr. Therefore in hand 1 you just look like medium strength showdown hand and in hand 2 you can easily have a draw in hand 2, meaning his range is real strong when he fires all 3 IMO. His range is thus wider in hand 1 than 2 and he thinks you are folding hand 1 way more than hand 2.

Our "value" range would probably be very draw heavy but it doesn't matter he won't know that anyway. If he thinks you would shove sets, KT random kings then that's the range he is gonna assign us anyway and he probably bet folds AJ and AQ without spades/hearts which is the exact hands we want him to fold, because these are the hands that he is likely to 3 barrel with

I can see an argument for never raising any hand for value on the flop or turn to keep us extremely balanced for future situations,  but we can safely assume he isn't on the level to realise our range is only draws, not like he is going to bet call J9dd

yh I agree that he needs a pretty strong hand to 3barrel hand 2. I mean he very well might fold KT KK TT or 77 but he defo has lots of flushes as none of the popular suited combo's are blocked, so even opening UTG he can still have QJ, JT, T9, 89, 78, 67, AQ, AJ, AT suited and its pretty possible he's opened a lot wider spade/spade combo's as well, QT, Q9, T8, 97, J9, J8, 56, A5, A4, A2. The sheer number of likely flush combo's and the lack of a single blocker to any of them just makes his range more flush heavy than set or 2p, where we actually block 5 and we're not sure 100% that he's defo going to fold sets or 2p's although he very much should imo.

As played I think hand 1 is fine, I expect him to have it pretty much always unless you've got specific reads to the contrary.

Hand 2 I think his turn sizing looks a lot like he might have a draw himself actually. On the river I'm not giving him sets, I think he has a flush or a straight a lot with some bluffs too, mostly QJ but just too many combos we lose to imo so I'd do a fold.

yeh he called. I thought with bet sizing OTR it was this kind of hand strength otherwise would have obviously called or folded river. Just sigh he called.
