These are going half price on Ebay, excellent Christmas gift imo, the attention to detail is superb.

Viz intro offer 1 pound for 3 delivered issues..... I'm such a nit.

We should hijack this thread off course and turn it into a Top Tips thread instead Cheesy

The Death of Woolworths

Update

I can only say for sure what's happenning at my sister's store - but I'm guessing it's the same all over.

Forget about the current posters which say up to 60%/70% off - she tells me that they have posters ready which say up to 90% off.

And it really is an everything must go sale - the wire baskets are ready to be sold for 10p each for example, so if you fancy any fixtures and fittings just make an offer.

But in terms of evidence for an actual bargain (apart from the fact that they're not security tagging anything anymore):

They had a 6 foot Christmas Tree for sale - for 1p.
Once she rang that through the till (which rounds up the staff discount to the nearest penny) - it goes through the books as she officially bought the tree for £0.00  Cheesy

Ryanair up to their old tricks again, blatantly advertising flights for 'Free' including taxes. You log on to the website however, and they are in fact 1p each. Trading standards needed, imo.

Kinda tempting to book an entire plane to myself for 3 quid, see if they see the funny side Cheesy Cheesy
