I actually love the cheering when someone fucks up, it's a team event. When someone misses a penalty you cheer. This is not a normal event it's only a big event becuase the fans love it so much. If you take away the team aspect then the fans won't enjoy it as much and the event would diminish.

I love the banter and I do take your point. There is probably a subtle difference between cheering for your own side when they get an unexpected opportunity and cheering the failure of the opposition.

Hope you get to see the greatest comeback since Lazarus today, to quote the great Sid Waddell.

Bump!

Unbelievable end to an unbelievable sporting year (I believe that is it ?).

So many heroes for Europe today, the biggest for me was Justin Rose, what a performance from 16 thru to 18, that was when I started to think we could win it and I'd imagine that was when a few of the USA team got worried.

Another absolutely fantastic day.

Watched everyone come through 5 until gmac, then moved to 15 where we railed every match until Kaymers, at that point we moved to 18, simply incredible atmosphere at 18. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything and even laid USA at 1.14 on the train to Medinah this morning Smiley

Just wow !!

One of THE best nights of sport ever.

An incredable year of sporting achievements by our guys.

Anyone who doesnt 'get' sport must surely be missing out in life.

Whether watching or playing , sport gives you so many emotions , high's and lows , really
character building stuff , which should serve you well for life in general.

The pleasure sport has given me through my life , the friendships , the cammaraderie , the
banter on a cold sunday morning running out onto a frozen pitch freezing your ******** off.

All encapsulated by team GB in the olympics , paralympics and team europe.

Thank you sport. It has been truly captivating.

Oh , its nice to have a little wager on it as well Wink
