Tikay is playing in the London EPT sat on Stars. Are you allowed to have a laptop while playing live tournaments? He's 2nd. Obviously a good multitabler

Tikay tells me they've not only decided to move the finalists up on a kind of raised back area with spectator seats (great for us - it's right by our office) but for some reason they've just opted to change to a 10-handed final.  This is just wrong, wrong wrong:

1) It's not fair at this hand for hand stage, as one table is 6-handed and one 5-handed which disadvantages the short stacks on the 'faster' moving table

2) The chip leader will get to play short handed, when his lead is more powerful, for less time

This is one of my pet annoyances about tournament direction, and I'd be stomping my little feet whether large or short stack if they changed from 9 to 10 at the eleventh hour...

Its a good job that under the APAT these kind of things wont happen - this is just the kind of thing they wont allow.......

A saver for 11th and 10th has been agreed - £1,000 so they don't go home losers...

P.S. Thanks Noflops - that coupon will come in very handy indeed.

Ok - maybe not....

The ever-organised Snoopy has your mugshots of the final tablists, but he's watching Womble go all-in blind every hand with a kind of grim fascination right now, so here's the chip position:

1  Glenn Ashworth   49,500
2  Richard Herbert    90,000
3  Brian Medley        30,500
4  Mick Fletcher      250,000
5  Tikay                  86,000
6  Andrew Douglas   12,000
7  Iqbal Patel          120,000
9  Paul King            30,000
10 John Hockle       63,000

SO, although they're playing that 10 handed table, (thanks NoFlops, for the coupon) it's strictly time for us to say:   STOP!

BUBBLE TIME!

And the bubbler was very short stacked Andrew Douglas - who went out when our backs were turned, fiddling with the darned Vodafone cards.  Again.  Another falls to Mr. Kendall....

A couple of reminders for you - Firstly the prizes for which these final nine are now fighting (minus the £2k savers which come off the top spots):

1  £28,300
2  £17,400
3  £10,300
4   £6,300
5   £4,700
6   £4,000
7   £3,200
8   £2,800
9   £2,000

And second - if you're a guest viewing this bit - Snoops is putting up at this very moment photos of all the finalists, which you've got to sign in to see...they're pretty good.
