Sigh just saw that stato was knocked out. Unlucky to the other boys too.
Well done to Shola and Ian Gascoigne!
Let's keep the updates going as they're brilliant. £50 in the kitty for the next one from me.

I'm fairly confident in my read that he (a) doesn't give a fcuk and (b) enjoys the competitive spirit of the whole affair.
Besides, my Skype sessions on table selection continue this week. Put those 9bags in a treasure chest, chain it shut, chuck it to the bottom of the ocean. The only way Mitch can get it then is if he's muthafckin Jacques Cousteau.

Knowing Mitch's luck, it'd probably float from said ocean to the bed of the Trent right outside his house. He'd be walking past it, trip up and fall in the river, and see the chest at the bottom, bink the combination to the lock at the first attempt and rub the cash over his very large titties.

Hmm not had chance to read everything fully yet but is this about Ian? If so Ian is one of the nicest most humble guys you could meet. Continually improving and loves his poker. I was genuinely rooting for him and I'm sure he knows this. Sorry if I've misunderstood...

this,
we're all friends at dtd, and all the bumhunting jokes are just that, jokes. we make them to his face all the time and it's just part of the dynamic of our group.
how people can comment saying they disapprove is a bit beyond me, given they've no idea of our friendships with Ian.

I know for more than a fact that everyone in this thread that has had the slightest rib at Ian were all sweating that he'd do well. Not for any bumhunting reasons, because they genuinely like him.
Ian will admit that he is the biggest needler of himself. Hes a very very smart guy and is improving his poker ability immensely. He admits himself he is value to people like Mitch and Alex and makes fun of himself about the subject, which is why everyone else does similar. Hes not as bad as he, or anyone else makes out.
Definately agree with Alex

Tighty, has DTD changed the blind structure recently, I know a deal was done with 9 players still remaining but 6pm finish still seems early? I know the clock was changed from 45 minutes to 40 minutes a while ago but have there been any blind structure changes in the last few months?

All im going to say on the subject, is that ian played very well when i was on his table earlier and im sure simon (who was also there) would agree. Was obviously catching some cards but played his hands very well and made some good calls, congrats mr gascoigne on a well deserved score, it was fun playing with you.
Oh and if this is about ian... He DEFINITELY was not the fish on the final table, one of the best players imo

It ended 7.30pm and would have gone to 11pm no deals. Structure is as always

Always some oldboy bashing to finish these threads off.
Great local results for Ian and Shola and top performance from mr O'conner even if his bottle went in the end
