Orica-GreenEdge

Brett Lancaster
Cameron Meyer
Daryl Impey
Matt Goss
Michael Albasini
Simon Clarke
Simon Gerrans
Stuart O’Grady
Svein Tuft

A team looking to nick a stage win. Goss for sprints. Gerrans in the medium mountains. Albasini in breakaway opportunities. Simon Clarke could find himself well up in the KOM if he can get in the breakaways in the mountains.

RadioShack:

A.Schleck, Bakelants, Didier, Gallopin, Irizar, Klöden, Monfort, Voigt, Zubeldia.

Andy Schleck named as leader. Slow improvement over the season, but still far from a level to place in the top 20.

Zubeldia, generally a consistent GT rider & more likely to place top 10.

At 41 & probably his last Tour, Jens Voigt can be relied upon for a banzai breakaway. Hope he can nick a stage, incredible rider.

Saxo-Tinkoff confirmed:

Contador
Hernandez
Paulinho
Noval
Rogers
Roche
Tosatto
Bennati
Kreuziger

Strong team to support Contador, with his regular trusted lieutenants in Hernandez & Paulinho. Bolstered with 2013 super strong signings in Rogers, Roche & Kreuziger. Looks like a team to break & disrupt the Sky train in the mountains. Interesting!

Hellova strong team there. Might actually do Sky a favour if they compete to lead the peleton train.

I haven't taken a look yet to see how technical the sprint finishes are, but I forsee a few crashes on the sprint finishes this year. So many top sprinters around they gonna get in each others way.

With Froome looking to extend his contract at Sky, Wiggins looks to be isolated within the team. Where to next for him?

Team Sky announced:

Froome
Porte
Boasson Hagen
Kennaugh
Kiryenka
López
Siutsou
Stannard
Thomas

No surprises. Debuts for Stannard & Kennaugh, good to see the Brits in there.

Lotto Belisol:

Van Den Broeck
De Clerq
Willems
Bak
Greipel
Roelandts
Henderson
Sieberg
Hansen

Van Den Broeck, leader. Fourth overall in the past couple of years, will perhaps find it difficult to make top 10 this.

Griepel has the best leadout train & should be able to nick at least one sprint stage if Cav falters.

Katusha confirm their squad.

Rodríguez
Moreno
Losada
Trofimov
Vorganov
Brutt
Kristoff
Smukulis
Kuschynski

Rodriguez confirmed as number one rider. He'll need to be at his very best to even podium. Strong climbing support from Losada, Trofimov & Moreno. Kristoff for the sprinters stages, he's in good shape & could nick a win from Sagan.

BMC for the Tour:

Evans
Van Garderen
Bookwalter
Burghardt
Gilbert
Moinard
Morabito
Quinziato
Schär

Evans starting his ninth Tour. Strong squad with six riders who helped Evans win in 2011.

Van Garderen will be in support of Evans, & looking for a high overall placing. Favourite for the white jersey.
