Dont see the point of chipping them up/cashing them out if you might use them.  If theyre not in play in a rack what is the big deal about them being on the table/rail?

To avoid any confusion all chips on the table should be in play IMO.

I'm not keen on having some in play and some not. The racks are in play in Vegas and that's how I think it should be. I remember hearing about a forum member who was betting a rack at a time when the mood took him on one Vegas trip not too long ago.

Just keep any excess chips in a pocket for emergencies.

About 10 seconds effort to change them up for pinks and blacks.

In fact in all my years of live poker I don't think I've come across anyone who has sat with chips in a rack at the table and they not be in play.

Don't see why you would want to leave them on the table.  Only gonna create confusion and disruption to the game.

Also don't see what was wrong with what the 'villain' in this story did.  It is in their interest to keep the game running smooth too and if I was there I'd probably say the same.

Too much stuff is let slide in live poker, especially in reggish games, and well done her for speaking up IMO.

When nik is sat at the table I'm happiest when all the chips in his rack/pocket/bank are on the table!

surely if you move to another table at the same stakes then the same stack should be in play (the one caveat I believe is if the first one broke and you are forced to move)?
