Actually not all grosvenors go with the no rabbiot hunting rule. At My former club it was ok to deal the remaining flop if the player who had won the hand was ok with it.
But i agree it just wastes time and gets peopel agitated.

The river-cam is Shite! - i hate it and they even do it when the person would have benefited didn't even think for a second about calling anyway and they do it on hands when the pot is quite small and its not really a key hand in the game - all in all an unnecessarry introduction to the game
and as for rabbit hunitng.. it should be punnishable by a 15 minute sit out ban and 5% of your stack being removed and given to the winner of the next pot (maybe the second punnishment is going a bit far - but rabbit hunting shouldn't happen!)

It's kinda unfair too cos it reveals cards that a player can't have held.
I'd have to echo previous words. Pay to see.

This is pure time wasting during a tourney. If it happens alot then the shortstacks are losing out. OK it may only take a min or so but its just time wasting!
On telly it's drama for the none poker playing watchers with a bit of knowledge. TV = Viewers = Anything to heighten the excitment so I've no problem with it on TV.

It's just about pet hates isn't it really? It doesn't waste time at all, a flick of the dealers wrist? I understand folks just don't like it but it ain't a hardship is it? Ian

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

It wastes time in the sense that folk sit and discuss what might have been for a while after they see. Theres the time it takes for someone to ask to see, and for others to agree etc... Depending on who's at the table this can take a while ;-)
It only really happens when someone folds and the winner decides to show their cards, I don't see it that often otherwise. So if the winner doesn't show, whats the point of rabbit hunting.
I do agree though, if you let folk rabbit hunt it gives them information on your hand and what you didn't have. The more information they have on you the worse it is for you. I don't want to give any more information than I have to.
