Sigh ul Tikay!

Plenty of updates from tarb 12 please guys!

Your wish, is our command!

We join Table 12 with the board showing two hearts

Only two players in the hand, Dean Pearson and Richard Berridge.

There's about 17K in the middle already, and Dean leads out for 10K.  Richard thinks for a while and then announces 'All-in'.  He's sitting with well over 100K which dwarves Dean's 25K or so.

After a dwell of a good few minutes, Dean decides to pass and Richard nods to show that it was a good pass.

Richard now has about 180K in front of him and a tower of chips.

Very next hand, and Dean is in the BB.

It's folded round to Alan Halcrow's small blind, and he announces all-in.  He has Dean covered and after only a small think, Dean decides to let his BB go undefended.

Not a happy orbit for Dean.

Table 13 is next to Table 12 (no surprise there then), and we hear the dealer announce '11K is the bet'.

We travel the relatively short distance to see a board of

It's blonde's Pelham Boy, Martin Jarvis who has made the bet, with about 40K back.

Scott Fenton is the other player in the hand, and he has Martin covered.  Again, a lengthy dwell ensues and Scott decides to keep hold of his 80K and throws his hand into the muck.

We catch up with another blonde, Glenn Henderson - aka Nirvana.  He's sitting pretty (ish), with a stack of 87.5K.  I asked him how he plans to approach the rest of the tournament and he gave me an exclusive on his thoughts.

"My plan is to fold to a min-cash."

It can never be said that he's not a man of his word, as we see it folded round to him on the button in the very next hand and he also discards his hand.  The lucky Trevor Pearson in the BB is the recipient of a walk.  Probably very welcome at this stage of proceedings.

Lots of folding to raises going on - although Kev has details of a monster hand coming up.

2 big hands on the trot

Firstly John Potts gets it in in the SB, Richard Berridge makes the call in the BB

AK for Potts, KQ for Richard

AK holds, Potts doubles

AND THEN

Raise pre from Manuel Stan, Berridge re raises, Stan calls.

Flop A 2 3

All in from Stan, CALL from Berridge

AK for Berridge

A3 for Stan

Stan scoops... BERRIDGE OUT

33 left

Flop

Meanwhile, on Table 13 it's folded round to Martin Jarvis in the SB, who makes up the blind.  Ashley Smith in the BB checks and we see a flop:

three clubs two hearts

Check - check.

Turn

Check - check.

River

Martin checks, and Ashley bets 6K.  Are we going to see fireworks?

No, Martin merely calls and Ashley tables and Martin takes it down with

Like I said, Kev's hand was far more exciting.
