LOVE the little kooka Aaron.

Are they generally tame, & people-friendly?

These ones seemed to be.

To finish off this months mechanical theme I took a trip out to the Falkirk Wheel. Awesome piece of kit and when it was revolving I was surprised that it hardly made a sound.

Although the screw method isn't used, merely his water displacement principle.

I was watching a video in the visitor centre regards the construction and it appears and old mate of mine from early Army days was one of the chief engineers/constructors, he would have been pleased as punch as he was a local lad.

Pretty nice at night too seemingly (web pic)

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

Impressive airport photos, how did you take them?  Surely they weren't through the waiting area glass?

I always get nervous taking photos at airports, feel like I'm about to get accosted by security if I do.

The landing ones are through the glass,  I managed to get the take-offs from outdoors. You can see the difference in the quality.

Funny you should take a blossom shot,  I was waiting in for a delivery today and decided to take some of our cherry tree that's in blossom at the moment.   Lovely to look at at the moment, but it'll all be gone in a few weeks.
