"Tooooony, Tooooony Cascarino, Tooooony Cascarino in the aaaaaaair," is what I used to sing in the stands at Villa Park, but now I'm watching him from a different type of sideline, of the poker variety, and watching him double up to a much more playable 41k after struggling for most of the day. I arrived late with hands on their back so am unable to relate the betting action, but the pseudo Irishman had versus on a three diamonds board and looked as happy as coyote at a roadrunner convention by the time of the River card.

I don't know if I share this pet hate with any of our viewers, but don't you just hate it when you go into the mens' room bursting for a number two only to find the cubicles taken up by folk undertaking a number one. The urinals will be completely free, but what's worse is that when they do depart the vacinity, you find youself having to clean up after them because they couldn't be bothered to lift the seat.

Where's that angry smilie? Oh, here we go...

I shall be considering using the Ladies' room in future.

A good mate of mine (who fortunately will never read this) physically cannot go for a number 1 in a urinal, he has to go to a cubicle to do the business. Often when we out for a few drinks when you go to the toilet you will see him hanging around the cubicles waiting to go like a complete weirdo, it never fails to amuse me.

Verbal wonder Roberto Romanello doesn't need to talk his opponents into submission, he can flop a full house against them instead, which is exactly what he do when he stumbled into and an three clubs Flop. With Roberto's initial bet being re-raised all-in by his nextdoor neighbour, Roberto instacalled (quite literally) and shoved in his chips quicker than a sheep at a Welsh farmyard auction. Mateyboy showed , so was virtually drawing dead.

Minutes before the end of the night (sorry to keep you boys so long), I went on a Lady hunt.  I could only find 2 left in the tournament and 1 in the bar.  Liz Lieu and a Pokerstars qualifier Katja Svendsen from Copenhagen, a pro for 3 years apparently.

As the players bagged up their chips, some elated to be returned, some feeling inadequate, I noticed the state of the board which read 90 players remaining and an average stack of 23,900.

Most players had departed from the cardroom, but a few were still lingering:

James Dempsey -- 26,500 ("I have the same as what I did at the second break")

John Conroy -- 37,500 ("No big pots")

Ben Grundy -- 20,000 ("Just grinding, it's been slow)

Maz Nawab -- 21,700 {"Finished badly, lost 8k 15 minutes from the end")

Tony Phillips looks to be the overnight chip leader with 94,600
