Wow, frame 12 was a real topsy turvy cliff-hanger.

Pressure blue to the middle. Most missed shot in the game.

Maguire has been very unlucky with "kicks", that's 4 or 5 now.

Does anyone else think Dotty appeared to be rushing his shots in the last couple of sessions v Carter?

I only half-watched it Ralph, but got the impression he did not want to be there. He's a big Rangers fan, maybe that was on his mind. Worth looking at his wiki page (can't link right now), he has had problems over the years with depression. Quite a life story, one way and another.

Current prices for the World Championships; https://www.oddschecker.com/snooker/world-championship/winnerMost go half odds 1, 2. Not sure I'd want to back Ronnie at 6/4, but there must be some value, perhaps EW, down the field. I thought Kyren Wilson (16/1) looked good yesterday, whilst Shaun Murphy (16/1) & Mark Williams (20/1) have some appeal. Even Higgins at 8/1 must be of interest & Ryan Day a lively 40/1 shot. Think Trump (8/1) is the only one who is poor value. Guess he'll win it, then.

Mark Allen looks the bet at the prices to me ew in the other half of the draw to Ronnie. 18/1 ew currently looks more than fair with Selby out of the way in his half of the draw and Perry up next.

Not my bag but the on just about left on Ronnie looks value against Carter. He sounded beat in the post match interview yesterday. All credit to him amazing physical and mental strength to recover well enough from stomach surgery less than a week before the match.

I think most Rangers fans stopped getting distracted by them a few years ago. As for not wanting to be there - I'm not sure I'm buying into that as he was leading 8-7 - just seemed to be rushing his shots unduly*. *<edit> This was epecially noticeable during the safety duels.

Is this the most tilting phrase in sport 'he has hit that too well'
If you have hit it too well you have over hit it right?

'He took his eye off the pot' Followed by slow motion replay of player with his eyes firmly on the pot but missing it.
