Paul Jackson was just bluffed out of a pot when Ben Middleton bet 500 on a flop and then 1200 on the turn. Ben showed after Maurice McCarthy convinced him to. Don't like showing this, I'd hate to reveal for free that I'm capable of firing the second bullet...

He's chipleader with 25k at the moment. Meh, I had 120k in the GJP tournament by this time last week...

I just arrived at table 11 just in time to see mad turk slide in a huge stack of 1000s in response to a bet of 1600. In total there must have been at least 15 of them, "I've learnt my lesson, no more free cards!".

The flop read:
 

Matey boy went into a big dwell, the raise covers his entire stack of 7000 chips, and turk starts talking, listing possible hands including flush draws, straight draws and air at one point he even asked me if I'd call with matey boy's hand (assumed to be KJ).

I said I'd definitely call and we both agreed that is probably why I'm not playing...

Eventually Turk calls for the clock and with mere seconds to spare matey boy calls.

On their backs and Turk has pocket kings v matey boys .

Turn and river are both queens and matey boy is eliminated.

Jon Raab has decided that there's no point in doing full chip counts until the 4th level because of the numbers left and how long it takes. Therefore, early on, if you want specific chip counts, please ask us for them.

Gemal checks again, Mad Turk bets 3,500 now. Again Surindar flat-calls, but this time Jehan moves in for about 1,950 behind him. Mad Turk tells the dealer, "After this hand, can you check the deck to see if there are more than four sixes in it?" He promptly moves in behind him, before Surindar stacks up his chips and moves in as well!

I just watched the demise of Ali Mallu.

In a family pot Ali, in late position, bet 750 about the size of the pot. The flop was 3 hearts and ace high. He got one caller in Ali Zihni.

The turn was and it's checked to Mallu on the button, who bets 1900.

Zihni decides enough is enough by shoving a big stack of chips into the pot.

Mallu responds with an emphatic all in and Zihni comes along for the ride.

On their backs and Mallu has for the flush, with Zihni having A7.

The river was an A to house up Zihni and send Mallu to the rail in what can only be described as a reverse malluage.

Anthony Quinn is OUT. Ariston limped with Tens, Rebecca Leach raises to 500, Quinn makes it 1,600. Leach makes it 3,500 and Quinn moved in. Leach called with Queens only to find Quinn had 5-bet all-in with Aces...Queen on the flop though.
