played the APAT yesterday...really enjoyed it, I was on a table with a lot of action and everyone seemed really friendly...standard bust out with AK V KK V QQ
Two strange hands one of which was the very first of the day 15,000 stacks blinds 25/50 and two players all in pre flop after a six bet with AA v KK...aces held...player down...every table looks over muttering 'already'.
Then later on a late reg in his second hand CALLS a shove with AK after the turn...no ace no king no straight draw no flush draw...head scratching time??? blinds were 100/200 he started with 15,000 and had put 4,000 in the pot already with call call call.
Still...we all play our own way...may well look for another of these later in the year.
Supernova aka Sharon Roberts came an excellent 3rd in this.
AArodddersAA aka Steve Roderick finished 9th. That's his 5th APAT Final Table, which nearly moves him into 2nd place in APAT Final Tables, just behind some hasbeen.

FYP - why am I only nearly in second place though, pretty sure it is second place :-)
Also 0/5 that's like the worst conversion rate ever. How bad do you have to be to fail that many time *lol*
Very well played to Sharon though, she will win one of these things soon if she gets that bit of luck you always need.

UKCOAP #2 Omaha Championship (£55)
never played Omaha live but really fancy giving it a go...does anyone know the following
blind levels/ times?
starting stack?
no limit/pot limit?
do the tables play to a winner or break like a normal nlhe tourney?
also if it is pot limit do the dealers normally know exactly what a raise should be...ty in advance...couldn't find the info on the apat site

PLO
A raise can be whatever you want it to be as long as it is a min-raise+.
Betting the pot is not compulsary at pot-limit.
If you do wish to bet or raise the pot most dealers can tell you how much it is if you are not able to figure it out for yourself.

Enquiring for a friend. When will seats be available for European Amateur Poker Championship in Prague in December. And do you have to be British to play it or can you be of any nationality?
Cheers.
