Title: New Member Facility Temporarily Closed Post by: tikay on April 02, 2008, 05:46:10 AM We have temporarily closed the Facility to open new Accounts on the blonde Forum.
Overnight, we suffered a multi new-Account Flaming attack, & received countless Posts from new, anonymous, Members, (all from the same individual, we assume) making serious accusations of financial fraud against a blonde. These attacks came from overseas. I, & other blonde Staff, also received a barrage of e-Mails to similar effect. Once we have enough Mods back Online, on Wednesday, such that we can monitor new Accounts, the facility to open new Forum Accounts will be re-enabled. The allegations do not suggest that any blondes were the victims of the alleged misdemeanour. It's not really a blonde matter, insofar as we can ascertain. I never won a hand on day 2 and had a succession of bad situations. Eventually I busted just 3 from the money. The $22,000 would have made the bankroll a lot healthier to put it mildly. I wasn’t really playing for a minor placing though. I was much more interested in the serious money at the final table. I am desperately disappointed to have built a good chip stack in so many competitions in this year’s WSOP. I feel somewhere I should converted one of this into a final table. My finishing is usually quite good given the opportunity, so in many ways it is a surprising disappointment. Tuesday July 3rd Well that’s about it for this years WSOP. I wont be playing again before the main event, where I am playing on day 1a. The $1000 mega satellites are tempting but I’m not really in the mood for the chaos of the Rio before the main event. Another disappointment has been the loss of a friend in Brian Wilson who has fallen foul of the gambling sickness and taken advantage of the good nature of his friends. However, on the bright side, it’s been sunny every day, no sign of floods. I have been working out every day and I am fitter and healthier than I’ve been since I left school. I can’t quite nail a date with a Lacey Jones or any other similarly attractive Vegas female but I guess there’s time yet! Despite all the trauma, I have enjoyed the trip. We were under the impression he was/is an active and respected member here. I never won a hand on day 2 and had a succession of bad situations. Eventually I busted just 3 from the money. The $22,000 would have made the bankroll a lot healthier to put it mildly. I wasn’t really playing for a minor placing though. I was much more interested in the serious money at the final table. I am desperately disappointed to have built a good chip stack in so many competitions in this year’s WSOP. I feel somewhere I should converted one of this into a final table. My finishing is usually quite good given the opportunity, so in many ways it is a surprising disappointment. Tuesday July 3rd Well that’s about it for this years WSOP. I wont be playing again before the main event, where I am playing on day 1a. The $1000 mega satellites are tempting but I’m not really in the mood for the chaos of the Rio before the main event. Another disappointment has been the loss of a friend in Brian Wilson who has fallen foul of the gambling sickness and taken advantage of the good nature of his friends. However, on the bright side, it’s been sunny every day, no sign of floods. I have been working out every day and I am fitter and healthier than I’ve been since I left school. I can’t quite nail a date with a Lacey Jones or any other similarly attractive Vegas female but I guess there’s time yet! Despite all the trauma, I have enjoyed the trip. As I said earlier…this is Vegas baby! quality bumpage sir, a salient reminder for all those who may be unaware of some plain facts. |
