Fair enough.  My intent was never to flame.  

But if someone from this site came to PTP and posted that a member of ours was a roller who had left this site, I would think it would be doing us a service.  I wouldn't think of it as a flame attack (as long as relevant links and information were supplied.....i.e. not a baseless accusation)

There is a post somewhere by Dave Colclough basically saying a certain person had abused their relationship regarding money and they were no longer friends.

the reason why blonde specifically is being attacked is that you and Dave Colclough have (had?... he did call Dave his mentor) close relations to the person in question, and the fact that this guy has used his reputation to abuse peoples bankrolls for financial gain leaves a sour taste in their mouths. A gentle urging to the unmentionable person to clear his debt might be a reasonable idea.

I do not believe Dave Colclough currently has any relationship with Brian, & Dave is also not active on blonde these days, either as a Poster, or involved in it's Management, though he does still own a substantial shareholding in blonde.

I have not seen or spoken to Brian for over 2 years. He has changed his Cell & e-Addyy, so I have no means of contact.

So yes, I can see where you are coming from Nick, but I don't see how blonde or myself can assist, or intervene.

In short, it's nothing to do with us what a dormant blonde Member does. I'm told he may have Posted once or twice recently, but I don't think his Post Count in the last 18 months exceeds 5 or 6.

Monday July 2nd
… well I have finally picked my chin up enough to finish this blog entry.
I never won a hand on day 2 and had a succession of bad situations. Eventually I busted just 3 from the money. The $22,000 would have made the bankroll a lot healthier to put it mildly. I wasn’t really playing for a minor placing though. I was much more interested in the serious money at the final table.
I am desperately disappointed to have built a good chip stack in so many competitions in this year’s WSOP. I feel somewhere I should converted one of this into a final table. My finishing is usually quite good given the opportunity, so in many ways it is a surprising disappointment.

Tuesday July 3rd
Well that’s about it for this years WSOP. I wont be playing again before the main event, where I am playing on day 1a. The $1000 mega satellites are tempting but I’m not really in the mood for the chaos of the Rio before the main event.
Another disappointment has been the loss of a friend in Brian Wilson who has fallen foul of the gambling sickness and taken advantage of the good nature of his friends.
However, on the bright side, it’s been sunny every day, no sign of floods. I have been working out every day and I am fitter and healthier than I’ve been since I left school. I can’t quite nail a date with a Lacey Jones or any other similarly attractive Vegas female but I guess there’s time yet! Despite all the trauma, I have enjoyed the trip. As I said earlier…this is Vegas baby!

you are right that its not your concern, and there is no way it should be,  I was just saying where they are coming from with their posts on here, justified or not.

I do not want our stance of fence-sitting in this instance to be construed as condoning the action of nipping or rolling folks for money. I don't, & we don't.

But this has nothing to do with blonde, it's over in America, & we/I have enough of this sort of thing to contend with already in our own back garden, because the practice is rife over here. It happens here a LOT, & I seem to be used as the conduit for aggrieved Parties to air their tales of woe. If it's over here, & it involves blondes, yes, I get involved, & lobby for settlement, or the scammers to desist. But there's a limit to what blonde can be responsible for, & this is way out of our & my orbit.
