The eye-stabbingly terrible spot for Car Spotter – a service you text to find out how much your car is worth – is the clear winner here. A shabby man is loading shopping in to his boot, another man asks, "How much is your car worth?", the first man says he doesn't know and that's basically the end of the ad.

It is usually met with a reply along the lines of "Here comes the off switch"

Calgon advert is good.

They state that some percentage (60%, I wasn't really listening) of washing machines in hard water areas break down in the the first 4 years.  Get calgon to reduce the limescale, blah, blah, blah.

What they don't say is how much of this 60% is made up of issues related to hard-water or limescale.  Maybe 60% of all washing machines in all areas break down within the first four years.  They never claim that calgon would help these 60% of washing machines that break down though.

I watch the wire and love it but only 4 more episodes to go now :( I will prob always watch top gear but it's just the same old thing every week tbh. I will watch lost when it comes back on and that's about it. I watch the ufc fights online in a fuzzy little 2 inch box but it's fine for mma I think, tez for boxing and football but I'm kinda meh whatever about those. If I'm downstairs the only thing I have on is the news channels.

But it contains the unique acidobollocksbacilus - so it cures all cancers and also helps you play better from early position.

I've just seen an advert for yakult. This is apparantly "good bacteria" in an even smaller ridic bottle than Actimel. You sip it in the same magic potion way and you get the same incred benefits. Some guy in his late 50's takes one of the tiny bottles out the fridge, sips it, turns to the camera and basically says "I've been sipping this stuff for 3 weeks and it's changed my life. I've just broken the British high-jump record, been crowned 'King of the Mountains' in the Tour de France, and find myself a surprise inclusion in Capello's world cup plans". How ridiculous.

Yakult was the 'original' one with the pseudoscientificbollocksusbacterium (tm).  They're huge in Japan.

I think you'll find the original magic potion was Stella Artois. It comes in much bigger bottles and if you drink enough it will make you just as deluded as Yakult man.

Any expensive bottle of shampoo is in the shape of a dildo. It's shameless but I suppose sex sells and all that. My mrs is smart with money and buys the family size, apparantly it works out cheaper in the long run.

Dear telly,

Why do you show tena lady and other ladies monthly requirements while I'm having my evening meal. Also why do you show women having fun, riding bikes etc at that time of the month. Are they really that happy and endeared to energetic fun loving activities.

Not in my fecking experience so stop being so condicending.

Now I'm a megastar on radio when can I move up the ranks to your fantastic medium to TV fame and join the ranks of Michelle Orpe Tikay?
