Was going to leave this a few more weeks, but trying to spur on Mr Kendall to get on with his.

Have only splashed about the last few years, but as I'm even worse at drinking than I am at poker now, I'm going to have a go at what should be the best chance of a decent return for a smaller buyin.

That said, the fields should be huge, though hopefully there will be plenty with even bigger neurological problems than me  ;D

Total Schedule is $5169, which when I load it to my currency card comes out at £4050. For  simplicity I've round it down to £4k, to make things easy.

Will chuck the old man the card, so even if I manage to get myself robbed, all our poker dough will be safe. Going to sell 25% for here and the same next door as I want to keep 50%.
 
Any returns will be made in $, as I'm guessing most will not want to be rinsed on exchangingb back. However, if we get a lump, hopefully we can rope Paulscot into helping us convert it back :)

What is this Paulscot currency conversion service?  Did he used to play O8 on stars?  Sure I played with him a few times, so it must be O8.  His user name must be slightly different as it doesn't show up on sharkscope, or alternatively I have made it all up?

Made it in one piece, and managed to get a decent kip on the first night, which is unusual.

Going to watch Charlo fight at Mandalay Bay Sunday afternoon, but other than that just going to mooch about for a few days.

Will go register for the first comp - $570 here at Aria, and get my FastTrac registration for the first 2 comps at the Rio done, too. Not gonna do that today, as it's Day 1b of the Monster Stack, and going to be like even more of a zoo.

Cheers lads, going to register for Aria today before I go to the boxing, and then sort out Rio comps tonight.

Went for dinner last night, and shipped off back to the Aria before the carnage kicked off, as it seems two of the other lads were still playing craps at 4am, whilst telling other punters they were a couple :D

Managed to bust first comp before the 2nd break, losing the only 2 pots of size I played.

Chipped up to 25k from 20k starting without anything really happening, and then pick up  Kh Kd.

Make it 600 playing 100/200/200 utg.

MP1 flats and MP2 playing the first hand since I sat down makes it 2.5k.

Folds back to me, and I make it 7.5k which he flats after some thought with 9k back.

16.1k in the pot, and flop is  5s Ac 7c.

Given I'd not seen him play a hand, I'd put him on a pretty strong range, discounting AK as I'd expect that to go in pre, and worse aces to be in the muck.

I don't think I should c/f, so bet out 9k and he obv snaps me off with Ad 5d.

Whoops, made a mess of that. I'm not sure if c/c is better, and think it would be better line if I had Kc


That leaves me with just under 10k, and I don't really play any pots until I reshove 7k to a 1k utg+2 open @ 200/400/400 and KK<AQ.

Lad next to me was a pro and he said he does the same with the first lot of Kings, but I don't know if he was just being nice because I'm a raspberry :D

Only had one drink so far, and that was on Saturday night after dinner. Actually, had a Pineapple Mule at the Excalibur steakhouse last night, but only drank half of that as it was too sweet.

Drinking will take place when I've got a 2 day break, as it usually takes me 24 hours to even see properly after a proper session nowadays.
