That was just insane, thought we were dead in the water when we were about 100 out: Arise Sir Ben Stokes! That was nearly as good as the world cup, I need a lie down now

Better than the World Cup for me. Absolutely incredible

I appreciate that this is test cricket, against a top quality attack. but i worry that Jofra, Broad and co arent good enough to keep digging these clowns with the bat out of trouble

just some awful shots

0-0 personally.

went to the game, bayern sat back and didnt give much room to the front three, and were happy i think to do so. brave as youd back liverpool to score over 2 legs which makes it hard for bayern at home

Try Forbidden Planet - they have quite a few shops (generally in most major cities) and are also online.

Otherwise most towns tend to have a comic shop and they would be owned by an expert in most cases.

thanks! sorry have been in paris this week. i went for a couple of old wolverine encyclopedia mags, which seem pretty smart on the face of it. will have to see what he thinks haha

Definintely need something physical in there with an end goal. I might sign up to a 10k again and do a bit of running.

Might try a whole season of all home and away games for Saints but that's a bit pricey.

especially as there will be 46 games next season and not 38 Wink

What about a charity raiser or something physical to work towards?

3 peak challenge, coast to coast walk, cycle ride?

Hi all,

I am trying to do some research for a xmas present for a friend, who loves his marvel/ dc comics. He also mentioned dark horse comics and how they went out of business so they are worth much more?

His fave characters are Cable, Wolverine and Deadpool.

Any comic enthusiasts know where the best place to start is? I dont want to spend a fortune and maybe looking for an original comic or two.

Please help.

Regards,

A complete comic fish

Got a crazy deal through travelzoo. Flying 14-21st January. 4 nights in Vegas and 3 nights in New York with direct internal flights for £630 per person. Staying at the Linq and the Roosevelt. Pretty chuffed. Surprise Xmas present for the mrs so let’s hope she likes it 😂

Drop Broad for Woakes?

I wont make the cynical point of it only being for 1 game as Woakes will be injured again thereafter....

No way Broad has been back to his best in the last year. Think he averages 26 with the ball in the last 18 months or something. Plus a home ashes series you’d want him in the side
119  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: England Cricket chat on: November 17, 2018, 02:02:58 PM
Surely a fit Woakes has to start.

I’d be inclined to agree. But instead of who?

I’d have said it’s 2 slots for Curran Stokes and Woakes. On current form Stokes gets dropped over Curran but that won’t happen. Can they fit all 3 in?  We don’t need 5 seamers

Great test match.

No idea what they do with the side for the first ashes test next summer?

Bairstow open and Jennings misses out?

Assuming they rest a couple for the West Indies what would your ashes starting 11/ best test side be?

Burns
Jennings/ Bairstow
Stokes
Root
Buttler
Moeen
Foakes
Curran
Broad
Leach
Anderson

I like leach. Seems difficult to get woakes in but no idea what they’ll do
