As a born and bred NYer, I ca say that June is about "the" perfect month to visit NYC. The weather is sunny without having reached the super heat/humidity of August.
I think 1200quid fo 2 peeps including flights is not bad tall assuming you have a decent hotel/locs. Enjoy.

If someone was to come onto any web forum and hurl abuse at someone, they can forfeit their right to be members of that forum. It wouldn't be tolerated on here, and many other forums are even more strict in terms of what members can say or do. Why shouldn't this be the same in an online poker room? I expect that whatever was said has gone against PokerStars terms of use (hence the 1 month ban), and also infringes on the APAT T&Cs: We may terminate your Membership if we believe that you have breached any of these Conditions or acted in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of any of them. I don't know what was said, but it must have been pretty bad. Maybe if the offender is contrite and apologies profusely sometime down the line, they might be allowed back in to the APAT. But then again, maybe they won't. If someone abused someone in a casino in the same manner, it wouldn't be deemed too excessive for the casino to ban that person from ever entering that casino again. This is simply an extension of that, isn't it? As for some people saying that you can switch the chat off if someone is being abusive - well that's a solution. But it's not the right one. I for one like to chat to others when I'm playing - it seems to help my game for one, and I like to chat in a live game as well - so why not online? One abusive player shouldn't force the rest of the table to avoid the chat box, it's them that should be gagged and penalised, not everyone else. Um. OK. Fair enough for APAT, specifically, though I might tend to think in different terms for both online and live poker, in general.

We are still dealing with this matter, & are currently awaiting the Chat Log from PokerStars. We cannot pre-judge the matter.
Both 'Stars and APAT have now reviewed the chat log from the Online series torunament on Saturday night on Flying Pig's table For their part, 'Stars have revoked the player's chat privileges for one month. Obviously this is a matter outwith APAT's control. APAT is banning the offending player from membership for life and refunding the membership fee to her. I haven't seen whatever chat was chatted, but, am I alone in thinking this is a tad severe? PS If you ask me nicely, I throw in a funky physical confrontation story as well. Tower of Power funky? You may choose from the following A: Attempted muggin by junkie half my size round King's Cross B: Challenge to a Money fight from Drunk Yank Kid at The Wynn Poker Tables C: Big tough Ex-Con New Yorker intimidatin smaller guys in Atlantic City Poker Room D: Bizarro gravedigger foulup at my Grandfather's Funeral

Pay the shipping and handling,
Will you please take the mockney wench, Lily Allen back? She is about to attack The U, S, and A. Just saw her horrible lip syncing performance on Saturday Night Live.

If Scotland went independent could George Galloway be exiled back to his origins to leave everyone but The Scots alone?
On a different note, there are significant military/strategic issues which make full independence very difficult if not highly unlikely.
