Amazon have the 120GB slim version, with a free HDMI cable and a game from a selected range for £249.99. Fifa 2010 is included in this range, so it's a pretty good deal. There is a couple of other bundles available on other sites, such as game, but you don't usually find the games you want in the bundles!

NOKIA N97 is very easy to use for old people, I'm living proof. Got unlimited internet, more calls and texts than I can use for £29 per month back in the late summer so don't know if its a great deal but fine for me. [X] This part of your post is good WIth hindsight though I kinda wish I'd got an iPhone [ ] This part of your post is good N97 ftw! Otherwise, the iphone is pretty good too. Blackberry's are great phones too, however, it comes across from your post Ralph that you won't really be using alot of the features which make a Blackberry worthwhile. For internet, I'd go for a N97 or iphone. He wants the App that collects his OAP. I know that app! It's called Sunny Nagi. The app gladly collects the OAP, and heads straight down to DTD to spin it up on the 1-2 game. It's currently in Top 10 downloaded!

No one is answering my question - who are the "fish" the traders make their money from?
I assume you're talking about market makers. Market Makers provide pricing and liquidity of a particular financial instrument, and are able to buy and sell at their respective prices. They earn their commission from the spread between their bid and offer price. There is no 'fish' in this kind of sense. Bankers, on the other hand, deal with mergers, acquisitions, and other equity and debt financing deals. They earn money through selling their services. The deals are quite huge in terms of money involved, and therefore they earn relatively large amounts of money. If you're talking about, where does all this actual money being traded come from. Welcome to the world of debt, and the reason the world's a pretty f*cked up place right now. Nice but I refer once again to the answer I gave above. Lol, I agree with your answer as well. I just wanted to give the OP a deeper insight. Although, the general public views banks and bankers as greedy little pigs with no concern about anything apart from themselves, a lot of the problems go back to the olden days when banks offered mortgages to people who couldn't afford them. When banks realised they weren't getting their money back, they packaged up these mortgages along with other instruments and assets which were rated higher. The selling of these packaged instruments (CDS, etc) to other financial institutions ignited the situation, which is commonly referred to as credit crunch, etc.

This festival has been advertised all year long in the GUKPT brochure. I'm not saying that is all that should have been done - I don't know what promotion the host casino has done themselves, but as far as GUKPT is concerned, we published details of the event a long time ago. Tbh, I wasn't even aware that the Champions of Champions was a week affair, until only a few days ago. I originally thought it was just the actual champions event, and that's it. I may be the only one thinking this, but judging by the numbers, I'm probably not alone. Just perhaps more promotion on the side events needed, that's all.

I was going to get there tonight for the £500. However, if it's not advertised well, not sure if there's much point in going? Doubt there will be a lot of value, since you're likely to be competing with champions!
Any ideas of numbers in previous events/ predictions for tonights turn out?
Mon £150 ..... 76 runners. Tue £300 ..... 37 runners. Wed £250 ..... 27 runners. Shockingly bad promotion/advertising for the Fezzie ..... hence no runners! When will they ever learn? Cheers for the reply! Think I might give it a miss... GL to all blondes playing though!

turn pot is 5100 villain 1 checks, hero checks, villain 2 bets 2k, villain 1 calls, hero ?? is calling turn good/ok? had villain 1 c/raised turn hero folds, but should we still be folding turn given the actual action? as someone mentioned there really aren't many nice river cards for us. is there even an argument for raising? do we see opponents call worse or fold better enough of the time? I think check-calling is fine, bet-folding to a reraise is also fine. Raising here is absolutely terrible. I prefer check-callling here though. Check folding is ridiculous don't they know who you are.. Chris "I run hotter than the sun" Brammer so there is like a 90% chance you will house up imo lol. If you hit your house too you are defo getting paid off by the 'I cant fold paper' Scandi types and prob some player that satellited in that can't pass top pair top kicker/straight/flush. Didn't realise OP was Chris "mfckin" Brammer. Just shove mate. You'll get there. Lol. This! If we check-call here, what is our plan for the river? Are we just check calling again? Think I prefer bet-fold on the turn.

Hey I don't really know many of you guys yet other than the ppl I knew before I joined here. But I would really like to go to this event I asked a few of my close poker mates but they didn't seem too keen on a) the buyin or b) the fact it was so close to the DTD Monte Carlo event. Well I'm going to be playing the Monte Carlo event regardless and I've never played a comp in Ireland before. Judging by your reviews it sounds great so I might come along even if it is by myself to have a good time and try and TID . Does anyone know where you fly too is it Dublin or Galway? geography isn't my best subject if I'm honest. Could be up for this since I can't make Monte Carlo. I'll have a look at chat to you about it. me and nigdawg r goin Jimbo, prob com with us??
You all booked and set to go Toby? Let me know plans!
