Hi All,

No cashes to report back on unfortunately but we did have a really good weekend, so a big thank you to everyone we met.

On day 2 we played in the 50 - 50 and ran better than the day before, we both played really well but both got crippled in races against Ace rags.

Both glad of the calls but not the end results LOL

My    resteal fell to  original steal call and the other was a BB defend push with  to  in both hands the rag hit the flop and we didn't improve.

That's Poker.

Yep, more questions from a newbie

My brother has offered to take me away for my birthday (14th Oct) and it would be great to get some live poker in at the same time.

So my question is:  Does anyone know of a tourney / poker festival that's going on around that time which is relatively cheap to travel to, stay and with a buyin of £100 or less?

I have looked at the Mountain Party, which would be perfect but just out of our range of my price range to travel to and stay at £400 per person.

Ideas please?

Having never played at DTD on a weekend and only a couple of times during the week, I was wondering if anyone out there had any advice on how the Live Tournies play for the under £100buyin player.

From my limited experince in Live poker and DTD I remember there being quite a lot of loose aggressive players, is this still the case and is there any one I should be looking out for / steering clear of?

All advice welcome.

Hi guys and gals,

I'm new to blonde and just wanted to say hi and tell you a bit abou myself.

I started my love affair with poker about 10 years ago and only attended poker games for the first 9 years of that LOL.  Do you know what I mean?  A bit of a donk at times and an occassional winner at others.  Last year I decided to start learning how to play the game in a valiant attempt to become a winning player.

My poker account is now in the black and will be staying that way from now on.

I like to play MTT's although I do journey into Cash tables on the odd occassion with mixed success.

I am lucky enough to be a Beta tester for one of the largest poker sites, but obviously can't say which  Wink

I think that's about it for now, so any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh yeah I will be at DTD this weekend for the £30 f/o and the £40 f/o if anyone fancies meeting up that would be great.
