Yep, more questions from a newbie

My brother has offered to take me away for my birthday (14th Oct) and it would be great to get some live poker in at the same time.

So my question is:  Does anyone know of a tourney / poker festival that's going on around that time which is relatively cheap to travel to, stay and with a buyin of £100 or less?

I have looked at the Mountain Party, which would be perfect but just out of our range of my price range to travel to and stay at £400 per person.

Ideas please?

What's your total budget for the trip?

You're going to struggle with finding a tournament so small

If you are teetotal and take packed lunches for the entire weekend, you should go to the IPO (Irelands a bit pricey but awesome)

I'm assuming you meant to say £100 or less?

This post is all kinds of wrong.

I've highlighted 2 parts of your post which really shouldn't exist in the same sentence.

Get pissed and put the tenner towards half a lap dance. If CF has the figures right then put the hundo towards 5 lap dances.

There's plenty of poker comps on every week all over the country. Your birthday is once a year. Don't waste it sitting round a table with a bunch of no hopers.
