Posted on here 2or 3 years ago but it got deleted about hotels that offered rooms say from 8am to 4pm 10 to 6 and so on .I thought at the time that would be really good for players staggering out on to Harrowby street at 6am who did not wish to check in somewhere they were only going to use for a couple of hours. I think it was deleted as the mods thought it was advertising .Obviously they have never finished a long session and paid the day before for a room.

I do not think 8 pages of speculation will help matters or umbrage over a thieving bunch in Westmister. I am loath to get on here again as Rob Yong does not take much notice till a few hundred K down the line and the drain.I will however. In Germany in the mid90s poker was in a sorry state, Dormond where I played at the time had a five table room with 2 going most nights as I had played in the CCC in Vienna and in the US I was underwhelmed to say the least. Many evenings were spent talking to the floorman waiting for a game to start. When I asked why the game was not promoted at all in What was and probably still is the biggest grosser in germany apart from maybe taking punters from the table games he said the casino has to pay 80% tax so after the tax there is not even enough to pay the xs. At the time I thought nothing of it,....When Later I returned to play there all the dealers were looking skittish I asked what was happening they said the thought the room was going to be closed as it was a waste of space. It did not happen so where is all this going you may ask. OK so fast forward to 2004 or 5, The casino in Mainz or Weisbaden I forget which is running a poker room and getting big fields with the poker boom so how did they overcome the Tax. I do not know but maybe the solution they found could apply to the DTD worth a look methinks.

Yea its Niki he does have a big variance .It does seem that Ivey is his nemesis. I do not think he is too worried rumours were flying last summer of larger plusses probably true. They are on a different planet these guys and all I can say is do not believe what you read in these magazines most of the profiles I have read about people I know are total garbage.and the figures used are cherry picked.

Kremser gets the best of the best because these dealers paid a lot of money to learn how to deal the games and I do mean Games .Any Idiot can deal HE u try dealing under pressure OH hi lo split or 2-7 double draw lowball. I did notice a Training school at the DTD 2-3 weeks you must be joking these people will not be poker dealers they will be starting on the road to be dealers.I do seem to remember a Croupier at the CCC recently Passing a comment that the player could fuck off needless to say he no longer works there. If you want to address the speed issue the dealer that makes it look easy and smoothis by far the fastest any dealers on here will know what I am talking About just like anybody who knows about computers and typriters knows I do not have a clue

Shut the fu...... up and deal is ok but try keeping a straight face when Ulliots in full flow putting people to the metaphorical sword. Punters have been bitchin about the standard of dealers going down for as long as I can remember over 30 years at the last count funny that the wages have been going in the same direction as well. You get what you pay for.......

Cash games. One of the original rave reviews was by one of the authors partners but that should not put you of it .This is not a book for beginners .Theres lots of good stuff in there though especially about SPRs . The book deals with NL with a cap on the buy in so if thats the game your playing then this is a book for you.Vol 2 coming out not sure when so its only half the cake which I thought was a bit of a liberty, but for 30 $ you cannot go wrong.
