This is the first time I’m posting so with the risk of being lynched I will post some of my observations.

I’m not a regular cash game player but I do play the tournaments regularly at dtd and have been for the last two years. There are a few reasons why I hardly ever play cash at dtd mostly to do with my bankroll and the time the games get going. But I witnessed something the other day at dtd that has made me never want to play cash poker there again. I’ll leave out names.

There was a PLO game going with a few regs and a few other recreational players Rob Yong was playing on the table too. Not sure what happened in the hand but two players were all in and around 2k in the middle and I was told that one of the players got extremely lucky, instead of the rest of the table staying quiet respecting the fact that someone just lost a lot of money another player who wasn’t in the hand gets up and celebrates. The player that won the pot then says “I enjoyed that it’s personal” a short exchange of words ensues I stand around because it looks like it’s getting heated and it’s not everyday you’ll see an ex boxer fight someone who looks like an ex con in a poker club. The players that celebrated were obviously friends and I have seen them regging the big games at dtd and the other player was obviously not friends with them got up and left. I’m not sure why this behavior was allowed and why none of the staff said anything at all, I was also surprised that Rob Yong didn’t even pipe in and tell the players to show some respect.

So all this stuff about the regs not being cliquey and showing respect to other players goes out of the window for me. Had this been the other way around and it was the recreational player that had won the pot and one of his friends got up and celebrated in that way the card room manager would have been called over. Now imagine that you were sitting on the Black Jack table and lost a couple of grand and the pit boss immediately celebrated, would you ever go back to that casino? Instead winning or losing at a casino the punter is always shown respect and in some cases gets free stuff just to keep them coming back.
I’m in the states so I will reply when I get a chance
Listen to me bigdick/danre, i dont look like an EX CON i am an ex con. Regarding the hand i was 100% out of order, you was taking that much notice that you didnt see me apologise more than once, shake the mans hand, then apologise to rob for behaving like that in the club. Ive played in dtd a long time and never acted like that before. If you have anything else to say about the matter please do not hide behind your laptop, come and see me in person. I will be in wednesday night.
<3 Kurt post more plz. We 've all had outbursts that we ain't particually proud of. Smiley

How good are Team Eureka at complaining? The whole apartment thing is a total joke and if you kick off enough i'm sure they'll cave and get you something in return? Have heard stories about people complaining at hotels etc and getting some sick upgrades. Don't just settle once they sort u out, threaten to give them really bad PR

These people are lying scumbags and they literally just do not care. On day 1 I demanded money back so we could organise something else because they just didn't have our apartments and obviously weren't going to have them for a while. They said "ok come back tomorrow we'll have your money", then when it came to it they said they had organised apartments for the next day (day 3) and so I didn't need to get my money back, yay! I said no thanks money back, they said "no we already paid it to the owner you can't have it back." I said "money back or I call a lawyer" and they basically said "ok bring it on".

I wasn't bluffing, I did call a lawyer but he said since his costs are $300/hr it wasn't worth getting him involved to get our $9k back and we should take the apartments they offered, which is the situation we're in now, day 5 of our booking and we have 1 apartment. The lawyer did helpfully recommend some stuff we can do, namely reporting them to the real estate department so they lose their license and taking them to the small claims court, both of which I will be doing.

The whole thing is just ridic stressful tho and has completely ruined my trip. The others are being really good about it but it's definitely dragged down spirits and was v stressful for them before they got here knowing that they didn't have a gtd place to sleep when they arrived. It's extra annoying because I said I'd sort us all a sick place to stay and these ***** have made me look like a right mug.

I don't want to look like I'm shifting the blame here, but if people outed these companies sooner this could have been avoided. I got loads of recommendations about this place last year, basically everyone who stayed here said it was the best thing since sliced bread, 3 mins from venetian, nice modern apartments, quiet pool and pretty cheap. Now all this has blown up I'm hearing stories of people coming back to find the bank has foreclosed on the apartment and changed the locks, deposits going missing for no reason etc. Months ago when I initially went to book this place I contacted Rob Angood who stayed here last year, he got back to me with the details of the agent who sorted him out, so I assumed we had a decent reputable contact. Now it apparently turns out that Rob still hasn't got his deposit back from last year. I thought this was common sense, but since it apparently isn't obvious, if someone ever asks you for contact details for a company and that company has ripped you off, say "steer clear of them, they ripped us off", not "yes mate, here you go".

I knew this blog would be an epic. Before card has been dealt new and interesting characters have emerged.Wanda the startled agent with an obvious problem,Constantine the man who will not budge and of course neck surgery man; is he real?
Financial information like is 7% the going rate and will Hero Stato find a lawyer who will not charge more than the deposit ?
Will Team Eureka have to smuggle Kirk into the country to sort this out? Will Neck surgery man end up playing heads up with Deadman in a later episode.
EPIC READ.
GOOD LUCK HERO STATO.
