Was pretty sure i was never going to bother posting on Blonde again, and am very sure this will be the last time
If you guys do not want anyone outside ur cosy group to comment or have an opinion, do not post on a public forum , either open a facebook page or just text/skype or call each other
I have read Blonde on and off for a number of years without posting and obv have made opinions about some of the posters , some i know who they are and many i don't, the format of the forum is not that you have to 'make ur self known' and as i am a private person in life generally i don't feel the need to do so this works both ways as i also don't come on here looking for congratulations each time i win a comp/pot, each to their own, I have been portrayed as a 'troll' because maybe my views are not what certain people want to hear George2loose said he sounded like a pussy and i agreed with him , so he has now decided my views hold no water as he (whoever he is) does not know me, strannge seeing as my post has pretty much been agreed with by many on here
The next time a unknown poster gives you kudos please demand who they are before you accept their good will No one enjoys criticism but as stated before ,grow up and take it on the chin, some of the things that go on such as slating peoples play and filming youtube clips at the table are not good/nice traits as i say you chose to post on a public platform for reasons of ur own, many people do not need the attention others thrive for , this though does not make their opinions invalid good luck and good bye

Ive played with and met many people who post on here, and chosen not too post before, i don't see anonymity being a problem if you are gushing over each others plays, but i will log out and leave you all to pat each other's heads and wondering while people see the cliques as bad thing
being part of a group unable to accept outside observations of within is a massive sign of insecurity
good luck all

Hardly a Troll PJ, just observations from experience, take it on the chin and learn from what many on this thread are saying
The lets see where you are in 10 years comment was loltastic. However, apart from that your post was just opinion and welcome, at least in my eyes. maybe this is the attitude given too anyone new in their cash games, so unless you bow at their heels you are a troll lol and ps: PJ your hollywood dwells are ridic

some excellent posts within this thread, Smashedagain mentions a couple of cash games which have run in the UK for many years in which i have played and he has it nailed on, the game in Manchester for example , you would rarely find someone lie JP making any player feel uncomfortable or acting like his game is a level or 2 ahead of anyone else, but he has been quietly 'doing it' for years , there is a guy who solely plays in one casino in the south of England who has been running the games for nearly 15 years and he has used his personality to make people want to play in his games, anyone new is welcomed and made to feel 'at home' and part of all the banter/fun.
The thing with poker is over the last 25years it has gone thru all sorts of phases, 3/4 years ago it was all about being 'balla' now it seems the younger generation are trying to make it far more technical and break it down piece by piece, both of these traits have attracted certain types but at the same time repelled others from the games.
Many of the people calling themselves Profiessional poker players at the age of 21 etc should really learn from the guys who have been quietly going about their business for many years adjusting and working the games as they have changed,The problem with the games at DTD are no different to games anywhere and in fact Alex and his crew have the best facillities this country has ever offered to work within and around
from what i have gathered the big game at DTD is far too cliquey and the players are coming across too arrogant within there own group , with the help of Blonde they have believed their own hype a little too much, I played a few times last year and found the banter very focused only on the group and as for PJS hollywood dwells on nearly every hand , anything but professional in short Stop blaming DTD and look at yourselves, and lets seehow many of you are still 'doing it'in 10 years time

For me, and I may sound like a pussy it's simply a case of the game being too tough. I was sat in the 1/2 game with you Mitch and terry to my left and I felt under pressure every hand and the game plays huge even at 1/2 with the reggy line up
you are 100% right George ................ you do sound like a pussy
