Villain playing 17/14/3.7 over 65 hands and already been involved in some big pots early on for a relatively soft field. I have played 2 hands in 4 levels prior to this, so unlikely I am getting out of line often here

I know sometimes a flat is ok here as we have position with a premium and wanting to keep pots small this early on. I think 3betting is also fine.

However I was pretty sure on reflection that 5betting here is spewey and totally unnecessary when instead I can just flat 4bet.

Also what do we do here w AK/JJ-QQ?

Pretty hard for him to have a set here as we have 2 blockers and raising a pot sized bet and call w 22xx seems pretty retarded as his equity v a shove is just so bad!

That leaves us with top end run downs with a pair and 2 pair draws like AKQT etc, or KQJT where we are getting free-rolled so often!, AA/KK with gutterballs I believe just flat if he is a reg. Most reg's played super standard in these spots with ok~ish equity and just aim to get it in with high equity draws given it's IPOKER!

Not having pokerstove on atm so can't work out equity ranges. I can't imagine re-shoving here is good and -ev given our equity vs higher wraps w pair draws has us in a mathematically awkward spot and Folding seems fine.

Times change and this has been over a stretch of 4years. Only really been playing serious 4-5 months on a stake, and yes most spots come up often enough, but my play might not always be the std! hence the query!

+1. 89ss in sb and peeling just seems bad. Pretty hand's get people into bad spots post where we have no control of hand being oop. Minimum peel here would be QJs, even then it feels ropey imo!

@alex Kids don't adjust at these stakes. I know most of you lot are ballas and customising bet sizes is obv important at a higher level playing sophisticated opponents, but at these 'micro' stakes I seldom change unless I know my opponent well!

Bet Bet shove is a very common line with the idea of getting stacks in with all my value hands the optimal objective.

Having only just posted 2 hands, I should find a hand which involves somewhat interesting discussion that doesn't involve 50p troll comments haha!

Having played over a million hands online, the cooler is just std, I just find there is always room for improvement in every spot, so was just questioning myself as to whether or not I could find a fold!

Sizing imo ott is just too big after some reflection on my session, should be 870 max~ as we still want draws to chase!

Like wtf, is this a call off, I can't imagine him doing it with Jxhh as I have 2 big hearts, and with someone else in pot, spazz shoving 150+bb on top of my double barrel seems so weird!

Hard for him to have 8x given flop action he should be raising and a double barrel from me is likely to be minimum AQ and the rest being high equity hands like JTss etc, Sets or OPs.

So when he calls, I have assigned his range to KQ/AQ/77/88/ 99-JJ and NFD!

Half of this range I expect to fold on the turn, being KQ/AQ 99-JJ given my range has become even narrower and seeing as we have no read on villian, these are all just assumptions that he is competent somewhat!

Combinations of 88's seems mathematically unlikely after he calls turn, so now it's 77/AQ perhaps or KQ being stubborn or just a naked FD!

Now the river brings me a FH and all Qx make a smaller FH, so I feel bet sizing seems pretty fine, maybe got a little bit smaller to induce Qx to shove for value and we snap off.

When he raises, can someone suggest a raise value range for villain given 350bb deep and 1st orbit. I ruled out QQ because he flatted original raise from Villain pre and again when I 5x bb w AA. Its hard to assume he would play QQ that way, so it leaves 8x and 77

Not sure if this is totally std or find a fold on river as his value range is just nuts 100%
