In my local £1/2 we have   in the small blind.A winning reg who is on a big downswing/has taken a break from playing opens to 15. He has been tighter than normal tonight and is desperate not to spew/make poor postflop plays. We are friends so he knows I know all this.

Reg opens to £15. I peel, recreational player peels.

Flop

Rec donks for £13. Reg makes it £44.

Rec has a range of Ax hands (weak ones), some like KQ hands maybe some flush draws/straight draws but he would mostly c/c these. Reg understands this.

Rec has £85 back and is a bit steamy/tilted.
Reg has ~340 at start of the hand.

I don't know if he thinks I flat AQ/AJ/JJ pre, he does know i 3b/4b more than any other reg. I'd give myself a pretty low 3b% in this spot although I'm not sure he knows that. As an aside guy between me and rec is a weaker player as well, playing £150. Rec isn't a big squeezer pre.

Foldings

Feels right but a baby panda starves if we fold a hand this pretty surely. Sad

There are more than enough baby pandas out there already.

I'd fold, only have the  as a definite out, your analysis of the reg suggests he's surely strong here too

Fold pre.

Surely this. Can't see this hand ever being profitable from the SB

As played it's a clear fold now. Think you were looking for smaller cards on the flop really.

Don't waste too much brain power thinking about ranges. Just fling 'em in the muck.

Normally this would be a 3 bet or fold pre

but with a rec player/fish peel is ok even OOP with them in the pot makes it playable.

As played sigh fold, its sooooo pretty it breaks my heart Sad

EDIT - seems from OP rec/fish it tilted steamy deffo ok to call pre then

Correct but irrc the bb is short and the straddle was def short but he wouldn't need much more than £200 to make this fine imo.

Fold pre.

+1. 89ss in sb and peeling just seems bad. Pretty hand's get people into bad spots post where we have no control of hand being oop. Minimum peel here would be QJs, even then it feels ropey imo!
