You ask the cashier to 'look after' the cash for you and you will collect on a different day. They will ask you to sign a receipt to confirm you have deposited £x with them and you use this recepit to collect the cash whenever you choose.
Thanks! So the casino acts as a bank (?) but gives me a receipt instead of my having like a bank statement. When I want the cash do I have to take all of it out at once, or could I pull some out to play the following evening and get an amended receipt for the remainder? (and then put my winnings and what i pulled out back on deposit?) I realise this is pretty straightforward/ simple questions, and I appreciate the time taken to respond

Take a cheque or leave it on deposit at casino for future use. Either option are available at all casinos.
Interesting- cheers What do you mean put it on deposit? How does this work?

Cheers for the responses guys. Any more clarity is appreciated.
i thought that money going back would be a similar thing to a "refund" on a credit card (if that makes sense).
Specifically interested if anyone has any experience of buying chips with their skrill/neteller card.

I have no idea where to post this so apologies blonde!
I've only gone to casino's to play cash/bowls with physical cash.
How does buying in/leaving work when you buy chips with debit card?
i assume it's a simple transaction at the cage?
Also, how would this work if I want to use a skrill or neteller card? Just the same?
I'm pretty sure I can buy chips in the casino with my net+ card, given that its a mastercard- but can i cash out at the end of my cash game session with it, and put the money on withdrawal?
Cheers

Just ask what you want to know. Surely the more opinions you have the better? and it will also save you £15
I'd normally do this, but i have a tonne of very simple fundamental questions, that I'd rather just spend some time asking someone about. Mainly preflop and flop situations that are super standard (i think). Actually having a conversation with someone just gets the information to me way faster, rather than posting 15+ threads and hoping for someone to reply; and the replies not to be trollin

yes I realise this is not pokermingle.com/plentyoffish I've just started playing live cash, and I keep uncontrollably levelling myself. Wondering if anyone with substantial live £1-£1 experience would be happy to Skype me for an hour so that I can pick your brain. To top it off I'll ship £15 quid your way for the advice. Easiest money you've ever made. (mods please remove if this is an inappropriate thread)

1) Yeh people limp for £1, prolly not going to fold for £7 speshly when others have called as well, as far as what I'd be isolating i'd be going for suited Aces broadway hands, bigger aces etc, stuff that people will have limped and called with dominated stuff, so the pre-flop value is that on KT4 they have K8 you have KJ, on if it comes 459hh they have J6hh you have A2hh and so on, and you can pretty much imp behind with anything you want, i'd fold like 92o and stuff but could prolly make a case for that not being terrible lol 3) No, because its still 9 handed NL and there is a high chance someone behind you will be waking up with a monster, same as before you'll be the guy getting "priced in" with dominated junky hands OOP. 4) impossible to answer without being there and knowing the player, some people prolly iso plenty some people prolly dont even iso QQ Hope this helps Cheers lil D- big fan of the blog! To add more info to point 4, he makes the ISO to 7, he then gets at least between 2 and 4 callers before us. Do we then just make a pot odds decision on our hand, or just go with pretty much anything? In addition to what Suprslim said you can make your size as big as they will cope with. I've played in live games where you could 10x preflop before any limpers and still get callers. Just keep going bigger until you find the sweet spot. Some nights it might be £8 some it might be £15 but don't have a hard and fast set rule, learn to adjust.
Contary to Suuprlim I wouldn't be opening hands like A2s-A8s as they don't flop enough pairs, just let it go off multiway. I'd also be limping behind hands that seem pretty weak like k2s and q6s. Limping behind in late position things that don't flop lots of top pairs will make your life easier. Play as tight as you want, it depends on your comfort level and the table. Don't be the guy who starts playing with solid fundamentals who then descends into limping 43o utg etc. I'd also say limping 22-77 might be wise from quite a few position especially if we know it is most likely going to go off multiway.
Thanks for the advice! I in the 3rd hour I was there I did exactly what you said, I was limping a tonne trying to get into the game. I felt like a tool after a few orbits, and nitted up If we think we are always getting callers with a £7 iso, should we be isoing bigger. I usually 3x + num limpers. I think next time it will be more of a 4x plus limpers or bigger if we have a premium hand

I played live cash for the first time ever last night. (£1-1) 9 handed
I knew it played a tonne different to online, but if anyone could offer a few pointers to the questions below, that'd be great.
Disclaimer: I understand all of the situations I've mentioned require read specific data in the context. However, I'm just looking for general ranges etc like against unknowns
1) We're on the BTN, 4 of the 6 players who have acted before us have limped (pot = £6). How wide should our Isolation range be, and how big do we make it? In 4 nearly identical spots, I made it £7 and got more than 4 callers total each time (Incl. sb and bb)
2) Am I correct in thinking that pretty much any hand they limped with would be calling an Iso of this size?
3) We're UTG+2, 1 limper before us, probably more limpers ahead. Should we be limping pretty much ATC because the implied preflop pot odds are massive? I'm probs getting 6-1 plus
4) We are in MP, we have limped, as have 2 players before us. HJ makes it 7. What do we perceive his ISO range to be? What should our calling range be?
The good news is we booked a £50 profit, but I was suuuuuuper confused all night. Not sure I played a hand in the last 80 mins I was there.
Cheers

I'm going to be acquiring a new laptop next month.
I tend to split my time between my flat, girlfriends and parents so buying a desktop is not an option.
Looking at building a 17 inch Vaio E (education discount and 0% on a 12 month finance deal ftw)
Needs to be able to run a pretty large pt4 db, spotify, and around 8-10 tables
Wondering what impact the difference between i5 and i7 will have, and the difference between 500gb and 1tb hdd will have on performance?

juuuuust wanted to point out im well aware roulette is -ev, with a house edge which is why I've never bothered (until i got a free play comp voucher the other week) which I spun up to £100 (free shit FTW)
Its pretty amusing watching people spunk off a buttload, trying to clean the money from their illegitimate business en-devours
