Probably put kiss of death on her but sharapova is a set up and break up v halep and still up at 20/1, she is playing great and striking the ball great. I don't think any player would want to face this kind of brutal hitting.  Halep draw is very nice indeed.  You wonder what kind of damage sharapova could have done this year if not for the ban.

Nice ticket to be holding at 33/1, don't rate her chances against the top players and can't understand how she is shorter than svitolina(edit that, just one rogue bookie has her at 14/1).  I think kerber may go well next week despite her inconsistent year.  Makarova is playing well at 100/1 along with safarova at 80/1.  I have to agree muguruza looks on course for grandslam number 3.

Julia Georges 500/1 with one firm and 300/1 with another to win the us open.  Probably playing as well as ever, massive price when you look at some players who are under 100/1 who have no chance.  Worth a few £ at the price and hope for a nice draw.

Schwartzman with his usual brain fart tennis, Mayer was the only player that worried me with his unusual but great on the eye tennis.  You were also a point away from landing haase in the final.  Hanfmann looks pretty useful, his service action looks Becker like and played the big points too well.  Isner seems to have hit a hot streak but 3/1 wasn't tempting enough

I'm really struggling to see why kohlschreiber and cuevas are heading the market here, both in woeful form. The top half looks tough, I would go with schwartzman from the bottom half with little confidence and it wouldn't surprise me to see ferrer follow up again despite his win over the weekend, I think it will act more as a massive confident boost he needed.  Nice pick with isner Bergeroo.
