ive finally started playing poker online again and would like to keep track of my ££ with excel

anyone else do this?

and if so, any hints and tips? something easy to keep up to date. hopeless and this sort of thing

i understand many people will call, and maybe that is the correct play. But in this situation my first instinct would be to fold

im not in the blinds and have at least 10 bb's left after this hand. Personally im waiting for a better spot to get my chips in, i dont know i would just prefer to get my chips in first in situations like this

button (loose, agressive & chip leader) calls
big blind goes all in

its only 200 more or so to call

I decided to call rather than move all in because i was almost certain the small blind would call my all in

im first to act, and have 800 left. I decide that if i bet the flop im pretty much pot commited.

i feel i still need to check, and the button puts me all in

I fold and he show

the big blind had nothing and was out, so the button took the pot

i felt i played this hand really badly. any suggestions?

if im happy to just make the £ id probably fold

but if i want a higher placed finish id need to call. Your AK wont be in terribe shape here, in fact you might be dominating his hand

would you have passed the same hand, same situation if the buy in was $10?

you see this bet on ladbrokes all the time. he probably has AK or something like that. I would raise to around 250 - 350 here..

yeah i knew i could never fold. Although a few people at the table said they would have folded, just incase he hit with the A

i thought about it for about 30 seconds. Decided if he had  AA good luck to him. I re-raised all in, he muttered something about being behind and might aswell call.

what are the blinds? i thought it was early in the tournament?

if its early on and he has AK, im still folding. No need to risk my tournament on a 50/50 shot IMO

AA and KK are obvious calls no matter the table/player

Call with AK, QQ and JJ depending on any read i have on the player

Im folding everything else

He probably has two over cards and i dont want a race at this early stage in a tournament
