Ok guys - I don't know if you remember this amazing song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoN6XfyQsr4)

Reading Facebook over the past year or two has led me to have negative feelings to a lot of online behaviours and actions that seriously grind my gears.  I have thought that it may be amusing to make a tribute to Thou Shalt always kill about how not to behave online.  Here's what I have thought up tonight - do you guys have anything that annoys you when you are on thefacebook?  If so please add to the list.

Thou shalt not stalk ex Girlfriends

Thou shalt not let myself be fraped

Thou shalt not steal other peoples statuses to make urself look cool to a different group of your friends

Thou shalt not put llb, bsc, msc, ba at the end of your name on facebook - you arrogant pretencious twat

Thou shalt not status on how many friends you have culled

Thou shalt not record bad beats - if the weatherman says there's going to rain you shouldn't bitch when it pours

Thou shalt not comment on The Apprentice as it airs - people want to iplayer this shit

Thou shalt not answer a pointless fucking facebook quetion

Thou shalt not comment on how bored you are - I'm sorry life is so bad

Thou shalt not wash dirty clothes in public

Thou shalt not publicly tell people about your bad day

Thou shalt not show off about my holdiay - unless ladies you have some bikini pics to share

Thou shalt not count down sleeps

Thou shalt not start a chat with a girl day in day out 'cause she added you after a drunken night - you're never gonna fucking see her again anyway

Though shall always Frape

Thanks BHC

Sadly inevitable.  It always felt like a case of when, not if.

Isn't this true for us all?

In after last post on Blonde after comparing Sharkscopes- but I thought he was a nit who hadn't shown any reason for me to be fearfull who also didnt bet for enough value when a king paired a river when had flopped bottom set against crazylithuanian  - guess sample size was small and my read was wrong - but at the time I was of the opinion that I had seen no reason to be wary of him
5  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: River Decision in the DTD £300 on: June 05, 2011, 02:45:44 PM
with serial limpers and poor bb in traps 2,3,4

A) What is poor bb? .... may be obv, but not a forum reg
B) Is the guy in seat 3 a young little Irish sounding kid with glasses?

In after upsetting player at table with my opinions

Yeah not a major fan of the iso. Quite like a limp along pre to gave Vaidas the chance to make it 2400, get 3 calls from the limpers, then you can shove to fold him off the J4o and pick up about 10k risk free a lot of the time... also you can just set mine deeper if it limps rouind.

^banter right?

Setting - I am in Day 1B of the £100 k guranteed £300 DTD: Starting stack of 15,000 - blind levels of 40 mins on a 9 handed table

Table Dynamics - Table is pretty nitty (seriously nitty) with serial limpers and poor bb in traps 2,3,4 - I am in trap 9 - players to my right are pretty weak passive yet Lithuanian in seat 1 is a maniac - who was literally playing like 80/70 for the first 3 levels with near enough infinite aggression post flop yet has quieted down a lot in the last 2-3 levels since the first break

In the last 3 hands the Crazy Lithuanian has won a 90 bb pot with AA v AK then loses a large pot with aq to 22 on a 2 x q a board blind v blind ( so he is kind of steamy)

We have history where I have opened 2 or 3 times in mid late position and have taken down on cbet flops or by bet, betting and when he had flopped the nuts twice on me and had been extremely aggressive with his nuts holdings

Level 6 – Blinds are 200/400/25 (full ring)  i have about 21.5 k covering Serial Limper and am covered by the Crazy Lithuanian

I am in the Low Jack with [ two spades Two Clubs]

Serial Limper calls UTG + 1
I isolate to [1525] in lowjack
Crazy Lithuanian Calls
Blinds Fold and Serial Limper calls

Flop

  two hearts [Pot just over 5k}

I cbet to 2125
Crazy Lithuanian calls

Turn

two hearts [ Pot just over 9k}

I bet 5600
Crazy Lithuanian calls

River

two hearts  [Pot just over 16 k}

Effective Stacks are about 12 or 12.5k

What is our best option in this spot?

Bet size on turn?

Ok I have just moved tables as a result of a rebalance.  I have played 4 hands at the table playing 0/0, the big stack is playing 50/0 over 4 hands (sick sample) and as I have not played with him during the tourney i have little knowledge of table dynamics at this stage.

There are 12/900 left, there is 2.5 million in play and Villain has about 30% of chips in play at the beginning of the hand

My plan was to lead shove the flop - Howeer as the big stack peels here on a 6 turn card what is our best play?

Is a 1.3x pot shove spew, or is it best for us to lead call here? - but if we do we are only left with an 80k barrell which is about 45% of the pot on the river if he peels and we miss.

I haven't really played as much MTT's for a while so apoligies if this seems like a simple spot - but I am confused with the lack of information at hand what is our best play

Ok Guys, the real reason I posted this question was because in fact I am villain in this spot and hero is my opponent.

I was wondering what kind of hand that I can play like this for value or for a bluff?

Is this a profitable way to play 66 and/or air?
12  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / River Decision v Defend Triple Barrell on: January 13, 2011, 12:30:12 PM
Hero has decided to play some deepstack low limit nl 6 handed cash (100-250bb) in order to move from rags to riches in a hopefully more sustainable fashion.

Hero has just lost a pot and has forgotten to put auto top up on and therefore has 104 bb stack instead of the usual 250.

Hero is playing tightish for the type of table at 22/14 yet has only played the villain for 16 hands who is playing 45/34

Aim of thread:

a)   What the hell do I do hear?
b)  What is our opinions on donk bets/ 3 barrel donk bets?
c)  What the hell is villain's range?
d) Are we happy with flop and turn play?

Thank You

xx

That needs to be seen in context. Sure, it has some value, to some, (me for one, it provides me with an income....), but they only Televise two Live Tourneys per week, & Tournaments are the smallest slice of the revenue cake, with Cash, & STT/DYM's, providing far greater revenue.  They run, like any Online Room, hundreds of Tourneys daily, & thousands per week, so televising two out of several thousand is not the key driver by any means.

Further highlights the need for software investment.  Would definately result in increased revenue for the business imo

I don't quite understand that, sorry. I don't know of any Online Room where the Tourneys generate more revenue than Cash games. Cash will always be the biggest slice of the revenue cake on a typical Online Room.

To clarify.  I was just highlighting a unique offer from the poker site.  I learned from you that actually it wasn't that important to the company.  So I concluded that to be more successfull (and that is what I meant) that it highlighted the need for software improvements

My aim for this post wasn't to piss anybody off.  I just think for a business to be successful surely it would want its software to be of a good quality.  And sadly Sky's is not.
