during tournaments players need to get moved from one table to another in order to keep all the tables balanced. there is debate in some card rooms which is the correct or the fairest way to do this. most card rooms in the UK  elect one of these two options

1. smallest stack at one table moves from the table and will be seated at the most favorable position futherest from the blinds

2. next on the big blind is moved from the table and is seated at the nearest position to the blinds including both small and big blind positions
