Hi,

I have not been to Glasgow for sometime now but you will struggle to get live dealer dealt tourneys, (we are not very well looked after up here  Sad  )
The Mint attempted it and have a link here somewheres but it may have been Thursdays and Sundays, not sure about Fridays. I am not sure if the link will still be available since the changes to the site.

I think we all agree Casinos, (up here) do not promote poker.

Didnt say they wanted to promote poker.
I rounded up but I think the Circus in Edinburgh can do around 140.

It is a great idea.
Obviously something on the scale of DTD would not be practical.
I guess it all comes down to size. Some of the casinos in Glasgow / Edinburgh have 100 -> 150 capacity, but do not run at full capacity unless there is a special event. I go to Edinburgh on a Saturday and typically they get 70 / 80 runners. I am not sure about the cash games (it only looks like one / two tables). I suspect Glasgow is similar.
A specialised poker room, with all dealer dealt tables would be attractive to a lot of poker players who are put off by self deal tournaments. So there is possibilities.
I am not sure if the biggest blocker to this is the location. People, (generally) in Edinburgh do not go through to Glasgow to play poker or vice versa and they are less than an hour apart. I live in the middle so can choose to go to either. A specialised poker room would need people to travel and I do not know if people would do that.
