Do you ever do Rutland Water? that is much more of an effort, but they have Ospreys.

Been past it but never round it. Will at some point though. Flies are a killer at Grafham this year, need a snood and shades biking.

Ejection stories please.

$250 WSOP Daily Staredown, late regged, 200-400, third hand, AK utg+1 900, old roffler with no clue 1800, two callers, me all in 25k, snapped! "How much is it?" K9dd, two diamonds on flop, etc

The other one I was stood by a tournament table for a couple of hands learning how to best utilise a short stack in five-card PLO. "You can't be in the tournament area sir..." Shuffles a foot to the left. "Sir, you can't be there, you'll have to leave. FLOOR!"

I am the official cuckoo listener this year. Went for a DofE practice walk with my youngest round Grafham Water.  Heard one there too, so 3 different places, and again at parkrun last week.  Don't recommend Grafham in 32 degree heat, but have got myself a splendid sun hat.

I do a circuit of Grafham Water three or four times a week on the bike. Nine miles approx. Never get bored of that route.

Just kidding, I haven't read it yet as chompy wants to present me with a copy in person.

Sold out Sad

Link to the book please.

Not being published this one. There's material in there not suitable for public consumption, including the Foreword.
Got another one in the pipeline for the end of the year though. This one will be published, a collaboration. I'll stick a link up when it's out.

Can confirm Vegas in the summer still the same. Wiggly everywhere, me getting ejected from a tournament by the table clown after three hands and then getting ejected from the Venetian poker room by an overzealous dealer. No sign of the salmon pink trousers fortunately.

Incidentally, for those who have not seen them, the Tiny Desk Concerts, all of which are on You Tube, really are very good & feature some great bands.

Sadly, I'm not sure they are making any more, as they were on USA NPR (National Public Radio) & Mr Trump withdrew all funding for PBS & NPR shortly after taking Office.

But, as far as I'm aware, they are all still on You Tube, so a quick search should soon find them.

Agreed, some fantastic finds on there.

Dua Lipa's was great Smiley

This one too. So talented.

Sake. Was going to offer the full amount but ne'er mind.

£1,250 is quite a chunk on one tournament but then again it's only 15% or so of an all-correct Bet365 Super Yankee.

How did you end up in Vegas during Luton GUKPT week? Especially when you've got a main event seat?

Struggled through it last night. Yinrun looks the right early favourite but they're an uninspiring bunch.

£4k matched and only 365 and Lads/Coral with prices. Amazing

Such a low-key launch. Stashing it away on an ITV also-ran channel and kicking off on a Monday not ideal though.

Betfair is as of another era as Big Brother but even so £1.7k matched would have been six figures ten years ago.

Will have a look tonight, see what they've gone for contestant-wise, but not hopeful.

I've seen this story before, quit now or you'll end up like Chompy

Pretty sure this is a complement.

Good post Alex. Watch a few Lex Friedman pods for inspiration then go for it.

Wpwp Doobs. Dewhurst was the race again. Third pulled like stink early, soe horsey that.

7-1 was massive value, as was 7-2 apparently, sayed the trade paper.

One of the best ever put up here I think, just desperately unlucky.

Got two in the Bond market but the oldest only goes back four years or so. James Norton 9-2. Also got Aaron Taylor-Johnson at 33s last year, which is nice. aftertiming
