call its a bluff well at least def not a flush, he raised pre, why would he check call flop w/ a draw then use all his time on the turn to make it more obvious [?] he has a draw and the fire out huge on the river.
Its a bluff or a set
edit: so now it actually looks like a set, 1010 maybe so river is a fold but i would call because Im curious

First time in NL25. Was up to 37$ from 25$. Opp. was very tigh, PF 2 ; AF 0.8. I didn't push preflop because he call - raised, so I figured he has AA or KK, so I decided to call and see the flop. Was there a way I could not lose all my stack on this? You're not folding or calling here so pushing can be your only play. As a bonus you are certain to get action from worse hands. The guy raising to 255 will snap-call your all-in at the very least. You may well pick up all manner of other bizarre calls as well. This almost certainly means you will lose. But that can't be helped.
it looks like he had pocket 5 actually. I guess you should go allin, what else..

Heads-up STT. Is it ever possible to pass here. My thinking here is "he has the flush but there's no way I can pass", is that true? Can't think of a hand he doesn't check behind that I'm beating. ***** Hand History for Game 1269915113 ***** €100 STT NL Texas Hold'em - Thursday, October 09, 11:56:40 ET 2008 Table Holdem (Tournament) Seat 1 is the button Seat 1: Elov1 ( $1865.00 USD ) Seat 2: Atkinator- ( $2135.00 USD ) Elov1 posts small blind [$15.00 USD]. Poker Forums / Learning Centre / Fold QQ preflop?

1$ buyin tournament, 5/10 players left. First 3 places payed. Blinds 100/200 Im second with 3500 chips. I'm dealt Shortstacked player goes allin for 360, I raise it to 720. Then chip leader, very tight player, who has never in this tournament went allin, goes allin for 6000 chips. Everyone else fold and now it's up to me. I'm afraid he has KK or AA, and I can go out just like that. But if I fold, Im still 2nd with good chances of getting some money. So I folded. shortstacked player had Chip leader had ... And another queen came on the flop... Was that a bad fold?

Raise the flop by more than a min raise, in fact given stacks i think i would shove the flop. The board is very wet plus you are getting to stack a bare ace a lot on this flop who may get scared off by lots of turn card.
Absolutely no offence meant Longy, but maybe some of these terms, eg, 'the board is very wet' maybe a little above a beginner who plays in a free-roll.... And no offence Karl if your not a beginner! No problem, I'm an active poker player for only 6 months so I guess I am a beginner I got what he meant with ''wet board'' even with my average English Still, I couldn't believe ha had QJ giving him straight. I guess I should have raised more after the flop raise.
